This 2001 Chevy Suburban custom executive/personal limo, show car that has had $70,000 worth of customization done. I bought the truck to pull my show car to car shows then show it also. But I decided not to pull my car with it because it is way to nice. I'm selling it because I like to keep my show cars for a year or two then sell it to get another one. The Suburban has been garaged kept as long as I have owned it, it has not been used as a rental. it will make a great show car, personal limo for yourself/ business, you can start your own limo business or add it to your existing limo company. Stretch limos are a thing of the past for executive and VIP's they are choosing suv's like this one because they don't want to call attention to themselves. I know because I've been asked by a couple of professional sports players to rent it for a night. Plus I bought it from a retired NFL player just to show this statement is true.  This is definitely my lost your gain.

The Suburban has:
EXTERIOR:
23" Giovanni rims
4 wheel disk breaks
Custom front bumper
Custom grill
Custom head lights
Roll pan rear bumper
GMC Denali side moulding
Limo tint all the way around

INTERIOR:
4 captains chairs (2 in the front & 2 in the rear which are similar to a first class airplane seats)
Suade headliner, dash, door inserts and walls
A dividing wall behind the front seat
Sunroof
Trim dress up kit
Dual a/c

ELECTRONICS:
6 tv's ( 1 32" in the dividing wall that slides up & down, 2 smaller tv's on both sides of the 32", & 1 in the front)
DVD player
Satellite
Navigation
2 12" sub woofers

OTHER:
Supercharger
Train horn
Limo tint all around

The only bad I know of is:
There is a small dent on the rear hatch that is smaller than a fist.
The rims may need to be re-chromed or painted.
Two of the tv's are not working in the rear. I will find out how much it will cost to fix the tv's brain.

Why pay $15,000+ for a similar vehicle with 2 or 3x's more miles with 1/2 the things to offer. This suburban is for sale locally so this auction may end early. At the end of this auction & you win a $1,000 deposit should be made with in 48 hours and full payment 7 days after the auction ends. The registration/title will not be released until the full payment clears my bank account. I work from home so feel free to send someone to give the Suburban a once or twice over to ease your mind on the vehicle you are purchasing. Transportation is on the winning bidder. It is being sold as is no warranties.. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to give me a call @ (504)338-7523.

Here are a few of our automotive guilty pleasures

Tue, Jun 23 2020

It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. The world is full of cars, and just about as many of them are bad as are good. It's pretty easy to pick which fall into each category after giving them a thorough walkaround and, more important, driving them. But every once in a while, an automobile straddles the line somehow between good and bad — it may be hideously overpriced and therefore a marketplace failure, it may be stupid quick in a straight line but handles like a drunken noodle, or it may have an interior that looks like it was made of a mess of injection-molded Legos. Heck, maybe all three. Yet there's something special about some bad cars that actually makes them likable. The idea for this list came to me while I was browsing classified ads for cars within a few hundred miles of my house. I ran across a few oddballs and shared them with the rest of the team in our online chat room. It turns out several of us have a few automotive guilty pleasures that we're willing to admit to. We'll call a few of 'em out here. Feel free to share some of your own in the comments below. Dodge Neon SRT4 and Caliber SRT4: The Neon was a passably good and plucky little city car when it debuted for the 1995 model year. The Caliber, which replaced the aging Neon and sought to replace its friendly marketing campaign with something more sinister, was panned from the very outset for its cheap interior furnishings, but at least offered some decent utility with its hatchback shape. What the two little front-wheel-drive Dodge models have in common are their rip-roarin' SRT variants, each powered by turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. Known for their propensity to light up their front tires under hard acceleration, the duo were legitimately quick and fun to drive with a fantastic turbo whoosh that called to mind the early days of turbo technology. — Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski  Chevrolet HHR SS: Chevy's HHR SS came out early in my automotive journalism career, and I have fond memories of the press launch (and having dinner with Bob Lutz) that included plenty of tire-smoking hard launches and demonstrations of the manual transmission's no-lift shift feature. The 260-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder was and still is a spunky little engine that makes the retro-inspired HHR a fun little hot rod that works quite well as a fun little daily driver.

MotorWeek's 80's GM muscle coupe roundup includes Regal GN and Monte Carlo SS

Thu, Jan 29 2015

Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). MotorWeek, in its hugely entertaining retro flashbacks, looks back on these three long-lost GM performance icons, and it's just as good as you might expect.
