Very clean Suburban for sale. I am the second owner, the first was a woman that was a traveling sales person, so most of the miles are highway. The oil has been changed every 6000 miles since it was purchased. I am meticulous about the care of this truck. The tires are Bridgestone Duelers and are two years old with about 18000 miles on them, The transmission, lines and boxes, were replaced completely new a year ago by my Chevrolet dealer. The motor is very strong, and the oil pressure does not falter at 80 miles an hour when the air conditioning is turned on high. The A/C blows ice cold, the heated seats work great as does the radio, cd, satellite, and dvd player. It has the Bose speaker system and it rocks. There have never been any kids, dogs, or smokers in this truck, it also has never been on a beach nor off-road. The miles are up there but a well taken care of Suburban can go 300,000 miles easily, and this one has been babied. There are signs of age and minor wear and tear but all in all it is in excellent condition. Most truck with this many miles are beat to shit and look tired, this is not at all. There is hardly, if any, rust on the truck. The only "dent" to report is in the rear passenger side next to a scratch(in photo). Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered. There's a press release below with more information as well as a video that explains how it works, with the obligatory dig at the 'Vette's biggest foe.

Some 2012-13 Chevy Volts may not have enough battery coolant
Mon, Jun 23 2014The 2012 and 2013 model year Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle may have a battery glitch caused by low coolant levels. No recall has been issued and General Motors is taking care of the issue at no cost to drivers. Some of the affected Volts may have lower-than-advisable coolant levels because of some pesky air pockets in the car's cooling circuit. When the coolant levels get too low, the charging system for the battery powering the car's onboard generator (i.e. the Rechargeable Energy Storage System, or the RESS) may be shut down, turning one's Volt into a run-of-the-mill gas-powered car, and a pricey one at that. The Car Connection says GM is advising owners of the '12 and '13 Volts to contact their local Chevy dealer for a free fix. GM representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGreen for more details. We believe this is a separate issue than the one that brought 8,000 Volts back to the dealers for a battery coolant fix, what GM called a "voluntary customer satisfaction effort," a few years ago. General Motors sold 23,094 Chevy Volts last year after selling 23,461 Volts in 2012, so that fix-it list may get fairly lengthy. Check out a GM-Volt.com user thread related to this issue here. *UPDATE: Chevrolet spokesman Randy Fox confirmed in an e-mail to AutoblogGreen that the company issued a service bulletin to dealers that they may need to top off coolant levels on certain Volts because of the issue, and that the vehicle will "return to normal charging operation" once that's done.
