1999 Suburban 1500 4 wheel drive LT model. 164k original miles runs fine 4 wheel drive works NO RUST ISSUES nice frame and underside. Interior is starting to crack up and is not perfect but not hateful either. This was a local trade-in at out dealership and I have personally drove it the last 500 miles or so even to pull my boat once. Transmission shifts smooth and firm no issues the check engine light is on I scanned it and it needs a TPS sensor ($20) 5 minute fix. Also after driving a while the service 4wd light will come on. Nothing is wrong 4wd works fine and there is no grinding or any noises transfer case is quiet have not looked into that but after almost 500 miles I never had an issue with the vehicle and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Pint is good a few minor nicks and scratches but over-all is in good shape and again NO RUST ISSUES. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION so bid to win ! A $500 Deposit is due 48hrs after auction end with balance due within 5 days. Vehicle has been described to the best of my knowledge and runs and drives without any issues. I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime vehicle is for sale locally as well. Vehicle is available for inspection come see and drive for yourself. We also offer delivery at buyers expense. Sold as is no warranty MD residents are responsible for all inspection costs. REMEMBER NO RESERVE HIGHEST BID GETS IT great truck for pulling a trailer hunting 4wd use etc. Truck had never been off-roaded or abused just used for average transportation.

Next-gen Chevy Volt will get 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine

Tue, Oct 28 2014

As General Motors gets ready to unveil the new Chevy Volt at the Detroit Auto Show in January, it's starting to reveal a few more details about the updated plug-in hybrid. Today should be fruitful on that front, thanks to an event GM is hosting today that focuses on the new Volt, and we've just had the first bit of new: a bigger engine is coming. Since the beginning, the Volt has used a 1.4-liter, four-cylinder engine as a range extender when the battery runs dry. The second-generation model will instead get a slightly larger 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that will be built in Flint, MI. That's a step up from the various engines that have been a part of the 2016 Volt's rumored mills, everything from a 1.0-liter or 1.2-liter three-cylinder to a 2.0-liter turbo. The confirmation about the new 1.5-liter powerplant was found in Automotive News, where we also heard again that GM is going to start building the new Volt's electric drive unit in Detroit, moving production up from Mexico. We will have more information on the 2016 Chevy Volt later today.

General Motors Recalls Nearly 780,000 Cars To Fix Deadly Problem

Thu, Feb 13 2014

General Motors is recalling nearly 780,000 compact cars in North America because the engines can shut down unexpectedly and cause crashes. The company says six people have been killed in crashes related to the problem. The recall affects Chevrolet Cobalts and Pontiac G5s from the 2005 through 2007 model years. U.S. safety regulators say the weight of the key ring and rough roads can move the ignition switch out of the run position, cutting the engine and electricity. If that happens, air bags may not work. GM says there have been 22 crashes from the problem. All happened at high speeds. Dealers will replace the ignition switch for free. GM says owners should remove nonessential items from key rings until the problem is fixed. 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray priced from $51,995*

Fri, 26 Apr 2013

After months of speculation, Chevrolet has finally revealed the official starting price of the 2014 Corvette Stingray. The base MSRP for the 450-horsepower Stingray Coupe will be $51,995, while the Stingray Convertible will go for $56,995 (*both prices include a $995 destination fee). This means that the price increase from 2013 to 2014 is just $1,400 for the coupe and $2,395 for the convertible - pretty modest increases considering the upgrade in specifications. Of course, neither price accounts for the sort of dealer markup that might grace early C7 window stickers, especially since less than a third of all Chevrolet dealers will be allocated Corvette models to sell at the car's launch.
Now, these prices are for the base car, so if you're wondering how much a fully loaded Stingray will run, Chevy has given us a good indication of that as well. The coupe we saw on display at the Detroit Auto Show (shown above), for example, would run $73,360 including options such as the $2,800 Z51 Performance Package, $2,495 competition sport seats and the $1,795 Magnetic Ride Control option - just to name a few. Stepping up to the 3LT trim level that brings a full leather interior will run an extra $8,005 over the base price.
While $20,000 in options may seem like a lot, this "as-tested" price still has the C7 competitively priced against rival coupes like the Porsche 911 and Nissan GT-R. Speaking of price comparisons, Chevrolet also points out that the C7 Stingray Z51 costs $2,200 less than the C6 Grand Sport while delivering better acceleration (0-60 mph in less than four seconds) and improved track performance (including more than 1 g in cornering).
