I AM SELLING THIS 1995 CHEVREOLET K1500 SUBURBAN. I BOUGHT IT FROM MY NEIGHBOR BUT NO LONGER NEED A TRUCK. IT IS IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE FOR ITS AGE ANG MILEAGE. IT RUNS AND DRIVES WELL. THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE WORKS AND IT HAS ALMOST EVERY FACTORY OPTION YOU CAN THINK OF. IT HAS A THIRD ROW SEAT, TOWING PACKAGE. THE TIRES HAVE ABOUT 70% LIFE LEFT ON THEM. IT HAS A BRAND NEW BATTERY. IT IS NOT PERFECT AND NEEDS A FEW ITEMS. IT NEEDS FRONT BRAKE PADS THE AC STOPPED BLOWING COLD (NOT SURE WHY) IT HAS A DENTED FRONT BUMPER (YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS) THE ANTI LOCK BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON SOMETIMES (ITS NOT ON RIGHT NOW) THE INTERIROR COULD USE A DECENT CLEANING. THE SPEAKER GRILL ON THE DRIVERS DOOR IS RUSTED OUT. IT HAS SOME CHIPS AND SCRATCHES IN THE PAINT IT DOES "COUGH" A LITTLE SMOKE WHEN FIRST STARTED OVERALL IT IS A DECENT TRUCK THE CAN USE A LITTLE TLC. Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]
Sun, 03 Feb 2013The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette
Mon, 04 Feb 2013If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.

Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.
