Chevrolet 3500 utility truck whit only 113,602 miles

This is a great work utility truck. I have no need for it any more. This truck runs so good that if you need to drive to anywhere you would not think twice about driving this truck. It has a 5.7 Chevy motor with only 113.601 miles with a 4 speed overdrive automatic trans. If you like to bring your own mechanic its ok.Air conditioning need recharging, heater, radio, cruise control. clean interior. I bought this truck from the original owner. he took very good care of it. I will be honest, this truck gets good gas mileage for the size. It has 2 fuel tanks. Honestly I get an average of 10 to 12 MPG around town and 14 plus mpg on the highway. (depending on how you drive) It has a great power and a nice utility bed on the back with all 10 doors locking and working. It also has 4 top boxes that open and lock on the utility bed. I went from a 8 foot utility bed to this 11 footed and man am I happy I did. I love all the room I have. This truck has a ton of room,There is nothing wrong with the truck except the paint is peeling in some spots. I just no longer need or use it. It is taking up space in my driveway. Registration is paid up to date, Pink slip is in my name.
BAD PART:
The windshield has a cracked, the passenger side mirror is broken need replace two tires I will need one day to remove all my tools and get the truck washed for the buyer.

Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady gives Chevy Colorado to Malcolm Butler [w/poll]

    Tue, Feb 3 2015

Winning the Super Bowl, we'd imagine, is pretty sweet. Winning the MVP award at the Super Bowl, even more so – for many reasons, among them that you get a brand new Chevy Colorado, packed full of, you know... technology and stuff. Of course this year's Most Valuable Player was none other than Tom Brady, the New England Patriots quaterback who was crowned Super Bowl MVP for the third time and lead the Pats to win the Super Bowl for the fourth time. He makes tens of millions every season, and Mrs. Brady (a.k.a. Gisele Bundchen) probably makes an extraordinarily pretty penny herself. So what does one of the most successful and wealthy players in NFL history need with a new pickup truck? Not a whole lot, apparently: the Boston Business Journal reports that he gave the truck to Malcolm Butler, the rookie cornerback who intercepted Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson's pass on the Patriots' one-yard line with only twenty seconds to go and sealed the victory for New England. Which strikes us as a fitting gesture, even if Brady did keep the MVP trophy for himself. GM recalling 118K Colorado, Canyon pickups over missing hood latches

    Thu, 20 Dec 2012

General Motors has announced a recall of 118,800 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup trucks due to the possibility of secondary hood latches not being installed at the time of manufacture. The affected vehicles are from the 2010, 2011 and 2012 model years, all of which were built between November 9, 2009 and August 28, 2012.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, these trucks fail to "comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 113, 'Hood Latch System.' The hood may be missing the secondary hood latch." In other words, owners of these trucks could find their vehicles' hoods opening unexpectedly while driving.
The official recall campaign is expected to begin on January 17, 2013. Dealers will inspect the affected pickups and if a secondary hood latch is not present, one will be installed free of charge. Scroll down to read the official NHTSA report.

Bob Lutz builds the case for a mid-engined Corvette

    Fri, Jan 16 2015

Rumors of a mid-engine Corvette are like automotive industry folklore at this point. Every once in a while, news pops up that it might be happening or is under development, but nothing actually ever comes to fruition as something people can actually buy. The latest spy shots strongly suggest a mid-engine 'Vette is in the cards, yet again, possibly for 2018. Now, an op ed by former General Motors executive (and definite performance car fan) Bob Lutz in Road & Track gives the inside scoop on the history of one of these proposals and lays out how to make it happen today. According to Lutz, the company's engineers believed the C6 ZR1 was at the limit for front-engine, rear-wheel drive performance in that package, and the only solution was to move the powerplant behind the driver. Lutz even got then CEO Rick Wagoner on board. The scheme made it at least as far as clay models for mid-engine versions of the 'Vette and Cadillac XLR. Eventually, a lack of money got in the way, though, bringing the project to an end. Lutz puts a lot of faith in GM's current leaders, especially Mary Barra and Mark Reuss. He thinks the chances of a mid-engine 'Vette happening this time are better than 50 percent. The model, rumored to be named Zora, could offer over 700 horsepower in an ultra lightweight body and be priced at about $120,000 to "suck the doors off everybody." Head over to Road & Track to get some insights from this highly respected and entertaining auto industry veteran. Related Video:
