Up for auction is a 2005 Chevy Silverado 3500 1 ton dual rear wheel 4 door, DuraMax diesel equipped pickup. This truck is finished in silver with dark grey interior. A beautiful color combination. This is a gentleman's truck, not a work truck. Running board equipped. This Florida truck has never seen snow. All servicing done by Chevy dealers. Service records in glove box. It has been used to tow a 5th wheel camper. It includes a Reese 20K 5th wheel hitch and equipment. This truck is a very well equipped truck of leisure. It has all the toys, even a Pioneer GPS. roomy well appointed interior, Like a luxury SUV with an 8 foot bed. A nice soft roll up tonneau cover, and storage box, included.
The exterior is in very good condition. The paint is brilliant and dazzles. It has a few scratches and some sun fading of clear coat on one rear fender top. There are a few small marks as shown. There is a small dent in passenger door (see photo). A beautiful Chevy truck. The interior is beautiful. The cloth seats are soft and oh so comfortable. The driver's seat shows minor wear from normal use. The passenger seat shows hardly any wear. The rear seat looks hardly used. It was owned by a nonsmoker. It was driven by a mature driver. This Silverado is fully loaded. Why the Corvette is Chevrolet's billion-dollar baby
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Edmunds has worked up a piece that tries to figure out just how much the global Chevrolet Corvette economy is worth, a spitballed guesstimate putting the number at more than $2.5 billion with the proviso that the number is probably low. It starts by taking Corvette's new car sales of 14,132 units last year, which would equate to $714,725,900 (including destination) assuming ever car sold was a base coupe with no options. In the final tally, a little extra padding gets that number up to $750,000,000.
But that's not all. Consider this: Many of the almost 1.4 million Corvettes produced over the model's history are still on the road. There are new parts being produced and aftermarket companies like Mid-America Motorworks deaing business, that single Illinois company doing more than $40 million a year in sales. There are the Corvette events large and small, restorers who do nothing but Corvettes, salvage yards that deal only in used Corvette parts and the Corvette magazines where owners find all this stuff.
And then there are the Corvette-themed tchotchkes, every single one of which provides a tiny contribution to the huge licensing royalties that General Motors collects every year. The article admits there's no way to come to an accurate number, but it just goes to show how valuable one specific model can be to a company.

In traditional auto show fashion, that means you’re getting a mega gallery of galleries to flip through and see all the vehicles on the show floor. Our EditorsÂ’ Picks from the show are already out — spoiler alert, the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander took home the prize. That said, there were other important reveals like the 2024 Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport and the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek.
