This truck has higher miles but do not let that fool you. My grandfather bought it new from the dealer for over $56,000 I have the window sticker to prove it.  Always been serviced by the dealer.  Truck has never had any major issues.  It does not leak, burn, drip, drop or smoke anything! This truck does everything the same as it did when it rolled off the lot.  Every button and switch lights up and works just as it should.  If you drove the truck and did not know the miles you would think it had 30K on it.  The truck rides smooth no funny business and everything is tight.  The leather seats are flawless with the exception of a small spot the size of a pencil eraser on the back seat you can hardly notice. There is nothing you could fix mechanically on this truck because it needs nothing!  My grandfather hauled lighting displays for a company and drove it from location to location across the US thats the reason for the miles.  He just retired and asked me to list the truck.  You will receive a signed clear A title from him showing 315 miles at the time of purchase.  The exterior is free of any rust. I has stone chips and small scratches and a few dings. There is only one real dent so to speak that is shown in pic on the wheel well. it would be wheeled or buffed but we wanted to list the truck as its used. We want you to see it how its used. The motor and trans are perfect with no problems and plenty of power.  I have an 07 250 superduty and a 08 F450 superduty and this truck out performs both of them in every way possible. They are both for sale as I am buying a new duramax after driving this truck. Anyone who says a superduty is a better truck than a duramax has obviously never owned one!  It is an exceptional truck for the miles and is being sold with no reserve. We are open to offers and it is listed locally so call with offers or questions or to come take it for a ride. 810-834-5877. You will not be disappointed!!! Thanks and good luck. The truck does need tires. I DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAY.  cash or certified check that clears before truck moves.  $2000 due upon auction ending and balance within 7 days of auction ending.  If you can not meet these requirements dont bid!

Personal testimonies show real-world effect of plugging in with Chevy Volt

Mon, Jan 13 2014

At this point, there are tens of thousands of individual stories about what it's like to live with a Chevrolet Volt. But it also remains informative to take a look at one of these in depth. For example, one Atlanta-area Volt owner says he's cut his cents-per-mile ownership costs by almost 40 percent compared to his previous car primarily because of his ability to drive almost all the time on electric power. Jeffrey Cohen told Clean Technica that he put about 14,000 miles on his Volt extended-range plug-in hybrid for the year that ended October 2013, and that more than 92 percent of those were on electrons. He estimates his "lifetime" miles per gallon rating at a whopping 384 mpg, a figure pushed upward by the fact that he installed a Level 2 charger at home while his employer added an external 110-volt charger at work. Cohen is spending 45 cents a mile for his car, compared to 73 cents in his Infiniti M35. As a result, he's spending 45 cents a mile for his car, compared to 73 cents a mile with his prior vehicle, an Infiniti M35. About two-thirds of those Volt costs are for the $349-a-month lease payments, while 15 percent is insurance, 11 percent is for the charger and seven percent for the gas and electricity that actually powers the car. Helping lower that last figure is an overnight electricity rate that's about 10 percent of Cohen's daytime rate. Chevy parent General Motors hopes such testimonies will re-trigger sales for the Volt in 2014. Last year, GM sold 23,094 Volts, down 1.6 percent from 2012. We expect our readers have similar stories they'd like to share in the Comments. Junkyard Gem: 1985 Chevrolet Sprint

Thu, May 21 2020

For in the 1985 model year, General Motors began selling Chevrolet-badged Suzuki Cultus hatchbacks in California. Sales of the cheap three-cylinder econobox in the rest of North America followed soon after (with the Canadian version known as the Pontiac Firefly), and did pretty well considering the crash in gasoline prices during the middle 1980s. Starting in 1988, the facelifted Sprint became the Geo (and, later on, Chevrolet) Metro. Here's one of the very first Cultuses sold on our shores, found in a San Francisco Bay Area car graveyard. Amazingly, the primitive rear-wheel-drive Chevrolet Chevette remained available all the way through 1987, competing with the thriftier front-wheel-drive Sprint in the same showrooms. For 1988, Pontiac started selling a rebadged Daewoo LeMans, so the Sprint/Metro never lacked for intra-corporate competition. Inside, you'll find the same stuff most mid-1980s Japanese econoboxes got: tough cloth upholstery and long-wearing hard plastics. Suzuki quality in 1985 wasn't quite up to Honda or Toyota levels, but you weren't paying Honda or Toyota prices for the Sprint. MSRP on this car started at $4,949, or about $12,000 in 2020 dollars. The cheapest possible 1985 Chevette cost $5,340, while a new no-frills Ford Escort would set you back $5,620. Subaru, however, could have put you in a punitively unappointed base-model Leone hatchback for just 40 bucks more than the Sprint that year. I think I'd have sprung the extra for a $5,348 Toyota Tercel, a $5,195 Mazda GLC, or— best cheap-commuter deal of all that year— the $5,399 Honda Civic 1300 hatchback. I was 19 years old and driving a Competition Orange 1968 Mercury Cyclone that year, and I recall feeling pity for Chevy Sprint drivers, new-car smell or not. Still, these weren't bad cars for the price, though a Sprint with an automatic transmission was a real character-builder. Got three cylinders and uses 'em all! 48 horsepower from this hemi-headed SOHC 1-liter. The Turbo Sprint — yes, such a car existed — had a howling 70 horsepower. The hood-latch release is a rectangular button that resembles a badge. 1985 Chevy Sprint Commercial The highest-mileage, lowest-priced car you can buy. 1985 holden barina commercial The Australian-market version was the Holden Barina, and the TV ads featured the Road Runner. 1983 SUZUKI CULTUS Ad In its homeland, this car got screaming guitars and a drive through New York City for its TV commercials.
