Hope for worldwide auction is a 1988 GMC pick up 1 ton extended cab 4x4

The truck has 76,400 original actual miles
It's powered by Chevy's famous V8 454 fuel injection big block with an automatic transmission
The truck runs and drives great and the transmission shifts great The 4 x 4 works great
The truck is 100% rust free from top to bottom in the body is straight and solid
The paint looks fabulous as you all probably know that Chevy Ford Dodge had a problem with all of their paint
In the late 80s through the early 90s they all used to flake off so this truck was repainted one time back to the original colors
Due to the flake paint problem but she looks great now with a paint job
However the interior looks phenomenal no cuts or tears
The truck comes fully loaded every option they had to offer in 1988
Also has chrome custom aluminum wheels spray in bedliner stainless steel chrome bed Rails tow package
And the tires are really good there about 85% tread
The truck is one family-owned Since it was purchased new but it did had three owners but all in the same family
So the truck was never abused or trashed
The truck does come with all the original contract and paperwork purchase order when it was purchased brand-new
Overall this is a really nice 1988 GMC pick up
it's not perfect it does need a few things
Like the temperature gage will work but sometimes it will freak out it will go up and down
And the driver side window won't roll down
But other than that she's all good

MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon

Sat, Jun 20 2015

MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.

Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506

Thu, 02 May 2013

With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Scroll down for the video, but know that the action really gets going at around the 1:40 mark.
