Up for auction is a Chevy Duramax 2500 H.D. Regency Edition 4X4 crew cab short bed truck. This truck is equipped with all the Regency upgrades such as the pro-comp 8" lift, pro-comp adjustable shocks, carbon fiber dash and steering wheel, red dash lights, Upgraded Regency leather heated seats, am-fm-xm-cd stereo with Bose speaker system and rear seat audio. The sound is extremely clear and without distortion even at higher volumes. Power train consists of a Duramax diesel engine that is equipped with a Bullydog re-programmer that can be set anywhere from stock settings to extreme. I have it set at the performance setting which gives the truck great performance and extremely good fuel mileage. I have gone 600 miles on the highway on 1 tank of fuel. (26 gals.) it has 5" exhaust from the turbo back. 4 wheel disc brakes. 315/75R16 B.F. Goodrich tires on Evo Weld wheels. Electric running boards that actuate with the doors. OnStar equipped with controls on the steering wheel. Tilt wheel. Cruise control. Power windows, door locks with remotes, steering, brakes, remote adjustable and extendable mirrors for towing wide trailers. Painted to match fender flares that help to stop debri from being thrown up by the oversize tires. I have owned the truck since it was new and it has never been wrecked or dented. I have included pictures of the engine compartment which has never been washed or cleaned. The truck has very low mileage for it's age (69,500). We are still driving it,so the mileage may increase some prior to it being sold. The truck is 7 ft. tall to the top of the cab. I don't know if this will affect it's ability to be loaded on a transport or not. I reserve the right to end the auction early do to the vehicle being advertised locally. If you have 0 or negative feedback you must call me prior to bidding or I will remove your bid. A $500.00 non refundable deposit is required at the end of the auction thru paypal with the balance due within 5 days. Cash or cashiers check are the only forms of payment that will be accepted. Funds must clear the bank prior to the vehicle leaving my possession. I can assist with loading the truck, but shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. Contact Jeff @ 520-266-1974 |

Suzuki recalls 2 million cars globally
Wed, Apr 22 2015Suzuki is recalling two million vehicles across the globe, including a number of Chevrolet Cruze sedans that it builds for General Motors, because the ignition switches may begin to smoke. None of the Cruzes being recalled were sold in the US, though. This recall is limited to the Japanese, European and Australian markets. In Suzuki's home market, 1,873,000 vehicles are being recalled, including the Cruze and a number kei cars built for Mazda (the Carol and AZ-Wagon), as well as the automaker's own Alto, Wagon R and Swift. Affected vehicles were built between 1998 and 2009. The remaining 133,000 vehicles include Cruzes and other Suzuki products sold in Europe and Australia. There have been no reports of injuries or accidents due to the 67 reported incidents, all of which come from the Japanese market, a Suzuki spokesperson told Automotive News. Related Video:

Want a V8 on the cheap? Buy a work truck
Thu, Aug 3 2017In case you didn't notice, V8 cars have gotten pretty expensive. If you want a modern muscle car like the Dodge Challenger R/T, Ford Mustang GT, or Chevy Camaro SS, you'll need between $34,000 and $38,000 for a stripped out example of one. The cheapest of those is the Challenger, and the priciest is the Camaro. These are also the cheapest V8 cars the companies offer. But if you absolutely have to have a V8 for less, there is an option, work trucks. As it turns out, all of the Big Three offer their most basic work trucks with V8s. And because they're so basic, they're pretty affordable, especially when sticking with the standard two-wheel drive. A Ram 1500 Tradesman with a V8 can be had for as little as $29,840, which is a little more than $4,000 less than a Challenger R/T. For a bit more at $30,275, you can have a Chevy Silverado W/T, almost $8,000 less than a Camaro SS. The most expensive is the V8 Ford F-150 starts at a starting price of $30,670, which is a bit over $5,000 less than the Mustang. Of course you'll be in an ultra bare bones vehicle with few comforts, and the price will go up if you add stuff, but we're bargain hunting here, and sacrifices are sometimes necessary. Besides, what you lose in comfort, you gain in loads of cargo space and towing (try to look at the bright side). Also, as a side note, all three trucks are available with optional electronic locking rear differentials. At the discounted price of these trucks, you still get a heaping helping of power. The most potent of the trio is the Ram 1500 Tradesman with 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque generated by a 5.7-liter V8. Compared with the Challenger R/T, the Ram is up by 20 horsepower and they're tied for torque. The value proposition is even more stark between the two vehicles when looking at the price per horsepower. Each pony in the Ram costs $75.54, while the Challenger charges you $90.91. The Challenger is also more expensive per horsepower than its close competitors. The F-150's 5.0-liter V8 is just barely behind the Ram with 395 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. That's still more power than the Challenger, and it matches the torque of the 2017 Mustang GT. On the down side, it still would be down 20 horsepower on that same 2017 Mustang, and it's behind by 60 horsepower and 20 pound-feet on the new 2018 Mustang GT. The F-150 also just edges out the Mustang in the dollar per horsepower measure.
