2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Lt on 2040-cars

This IS my bottom dollar. I owe $44,151.86. I have arranged to take out a personal loan to make up the difference
between my selling price of $39,000 and what I owe. There is really no need to send me a message asking what is my
bottom dollar.
Duramax 6.6 liter turbocharged diesel, Allison heavy-duty 6 speed automatic transmission, double cab, 6'6" bed with
lighting, Line-X bed protection and behind-the-cab tool box; B & W Turnoverball gooseneck and receiver trailer
hitches, 7-pole trailer wiring connectors in the bed and on the bumper, 4 point connector on the bumper, factory
installed electric trailer brake controller, slide-out side mirrors with turn signals, Z-71 Off-Road suspension,
rear-view camera, LT Trim Package with touch-screen audio system, dual zone temperature control, fog/driving lights
in front bumper, 18" alloy wheels, 110V power outlet under dash, 6-way power front driver's seat and remote engine
start.
This was my dream truck, and it's in perfect condition. I bought it to tow a large sailboat on a gooseneck trailer,
but I never did. I've driven it 10 miles to & from work, carried a few sheets of plywood for home projects and took
two 4,000 mile vacations. But, it's never been a work truck. I'm over 60 years old and have never allowed anyone to
smoke in this truck. I had the dealer do the first two oil changes; since then, I have changed the oil and filter
every 3,000 miles. I changed the transmission fluid filter at 18,000 miles. On the highway, it's surprisingly
smooth, considering the heavy suspension and gets around 20 miles/gallon (on the highway).
I'm selling it so I might retire a couple of years earlier. I won't sell to anyone who doesn't come to me and
shake my hand.

GM Design shows what could have been and what might be
Thu, May 27 2021We periodically like to check in with GM Design's Instagram account to see what they're cooking up. Even better is when we catch a glimpse of an alternate history of what legendary designers from The General's past were thinking, though those ideas may not have made it into production. This week, for example, the account posted some illustrations from George Camp, whose career at GM spanned nearly four decades, from 1963 to 2001. One of the renderings is of what appears to be a 1971-72 Pontiac GTO Judge, but with two headlights instead of the production unit's quad beams. The rear departs from the canonical version most dramatically, with a massive integrated wing. Other bits that didn't make the production cut include large side vents, a gill-like side marker and rectangular intakes below the headlights that wouldn't be out of place on a modern design today. Amazingly, from what we can make out of the date, it appears that the drawing was done sometime in 1965, which makes it quite prescient. To our eyes it splits the difference between the 1986 Corvette Indy concept and a fourth-generation F-body Pontiac Firebird, so perhaps parts of Camp's work on this sketch did make it into physical form. There's also a radical sports car concept from May 1970 that resembles the Mazda RX-500 concept from the same year, a Syd Mead-looking Cadillac coupe, and an Oldsmobile with a cool take on the company's trademark waterfall grille and elements of the Colonnade Cutlass at the rear. Other recent posts include a FJ Cruiser-like off-road EV, a sleek coupe with the Chevy corporate grille, and a rendering of a Silverado-esque pickup that looks far better than the current production version. GM to trim Russian output, raise prices amid currency woes
Thu, Feb 5 2015General Motors is shutting down its factory in Russia's second largest city, St. Petersburg, from the middle of March until the middle of May as the country's currency, the ruble, continues to give economists fits. The ruble's value has plunged due not only to western sanctions, but a precipitous fall in oil prices. We knew these factors were already impacting the auto industry there, as Ford reported in its 2014 earnings statement, and now they're forcing GM to cut production at the factory, shown above, that is responsible for production of the Chevrolet Cruze and Opel Astra. Meanwhile, Automotive News is citing Russian outlet Kommersant as saying that GM has hiked its prices in the country by an average of 20 percent over the past two months. While a GM spokesman confirmed the St. Petersburg plant would be shut down for the two-month span reported by Kommersant and AN, he would not confirm the price increase. 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible gives us a couple of looks
Sat, 02 Mar 2013Put away your pixel paintbrushes, kids. Pack up your Photoshop. This is the real-deal 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible in its first official images. The droptop Chevrolet will roll into the bright lights of the Palexpo exhibition at next week's Geneva Motor Show, a four-wheeled statement of intent that General Motors is serious about taking its Corvette franchise global.
Chevy isn't providing anything in the way of further details with these two shots, but we've learned at least a couple of things about the car shown here. First off, the example seen in these images is fitted with the optional Z51 Performance Package - something that isn't immediately evident because there's no sign of the coupe model's prominent ductwork on its rear haunches. In order to accommodate the power folding hard tonneau cover, the vents that feed the transmission and differential coolers have been relocated to the underside of the car. The dark paint color on this example also does a good job of muting the contrasting black front fender vents and hood opening - Z51-spec design details that have proven to be somewhat controversial.
One other thing to note: These two shots also display the Stingray wearing different alloy wheels than the split five-spoke design shown at the hardtop's Detroit Auto Show unveiling in January. The simpler, thin five-spoke wheels should do a good job of showing off the Z51's upgraded brakes, and they'll be optional on the coupe as well.
