Ladies and Gents,

Up for sale is my pride and joy! Lots of money, time, and effort has gone into this truck..it has been my baby for over a year now. I want to start out saying that I had planned to do a full build with this vehicle. But as the new 2015 HDs hit the lot, I have decided to part ways. In my honest opinion, you could search all day long and not find a used HD quite as clean as this one. I have cared for this vehicle every way I possibly could (detailed very frequently, parked in far parking spots, installed all aftermarket accessories myself to ensure proper installation, with the exception of the audio). I have used only the best products during this build and I get compliments on this truck ALL the time. The beauty of this sale is that I haven't touched the suspension yet..everything is totally stock besides a RCX steering stabilizer. So, the new owner can really make this truck stand out if he/she wanted to, a lift kit would REALLY set it off!

The list of mods on the truck are as follows:
-H&S Mini Maxx tuner w/ pillar mount
-5" Flo-Pro Stainless Steel exhaust with 5"-7" Flo-Pro Tip
-Full Colormatch on Plastics (All plastic was uninstalled by me and taken to my painter; he really nailed the colormatch with Graystone Metallic)
-Most of the truck was de-badged for a clean, simple look
-6000K Morimoto HIDs (top of the line and very bright)
-Professionally cleared headlights done by fastheadlights.com (This process involved cutting the OEM heads open and removing the amber corner pieces, creating an all "chrome" headlight)
-Sylvania Silverstar Turn Signals
-Miscellaneous LEDs from longshotlighting.com (Quality leds and also extremely bright)
-Professionally installed Memphis Audio 10" subwoofer enclosed in a bedlined "Q-Bomb" sub box, PRX Memphis Audio 1.1000 amplifier, Memphis Audio MC15-MC1S tweeters up front ($1,200 upgrade alone!)
-For the sound system my goal was to have the most quality sound, in other words, a great sounding bass without drowning out the music. This set up really comes through with a quality sound!
-T-Rex Billet Grille
-S&B Cold Air Intake w/ Dry Filter
-AMI Billet Big Stick Antenna
-33x12.50r20 Toyo Open Country Tires on stock LML 20s
-RCX Steering Stabilizer
-Full Bedrug with Undercover Flex Tounneau cover - The bed setup was another $1,300 by itself
-(2) Undercover Swingcases (Lockable toolboxes that swing to the bedside)
-OEM Rear Wheel Well Liners
-20% tint on front windows, 5% brow on windshield

*This 2500HD was detailed using only Adam's Polishes*

You can also view this truck in either of my YouTube postings:
-YouTube name (cr1ms4ntide)

Please note that this truck has had all fluids every 3,000 miles as prompted. I never romped, offroaded, or drove this truck in any reckless manner. With the H&S tuner, this truck is SUPER strong. I feel like H&S made a fantastic product for the LML enthusiasts, and driving the truck will explain it all. Driving around town I am seeing 15-16 mpg, hwy driving is over 20 mpg. Mileage is subject to increase gradually as it is my daily driver.

Pictures do not do this truck justice, you must see it in person!

For further information about the truck, please do not hesitate to contact me. Any owner would be satisfied with this vehicle!

Happy Bidding and Good Luck!

Safety group pans GM’s new Marketplace in-dash shopping

Wed, Dec 6 2017

When it comes to our cars, is the Internet of Things a godsend? Or a hidden menace that will create more problems than it will solve? On the same day General Motors announced it will equip newer-model cars with its in-dash Marketplace e-commerce app, a prominent safety group was shooting it down. National Safety Council President Deborah Hersman tells Bloomberg the technology will only contribute to distracted driving and hurt efforts to stem the tide of rising auto fatalities, which grew 5.6 percent to more than 37,000 in the U.S. in 2016. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says distracted driving was responsible for 3,477 fatalities and 391,000 injuries in 2015, the most recent year for which it has data. "There's nothing about this that's safe," Hersman told Bloomberg. "If this is why they want WiFi in the car, we're going to see fatality numbers go up even higher than they are now." Marketplace, developed with IBM, will allow drivers — or more often, one hopes, their passengers — to order coffee or food, find gas stations and reserve hotel rooms from their dashboard screens. The technology is set to be uploaded automatically to nearly 1.9 million GM vehicles model-year 2017 and later that are equipped with WiFi hotspots and compatible systems. By the end of 2018, about 4 million Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles will be equipped with Marketplace. The app will debut with a limited number of participating retailers, including TGI Fridays, Shell, Exxon Mobil and Starbucks, with more likely to join later. Online retail giant Amazon is also partnering with automakers such as Ford to bring e-commerce capabilities inside the car through its Alexa personal assistant. While convenience is nice, one other thing is becoming clear as the IoT wedges its way into our cars: It's taking aim at some decidedly first-world problems.Related Video: Image Credit: GM Buick Cadillac Chevrolet GM GMC Technology Infotainment in-car entertainment marketplace e-commerce

"Turbo" Chevrolet Camaro is a 700-HP fantasy car come to life [w/video]

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

For a concept car built to promote an animated movie about a snail that wants to go racing, this thing ain't half bad. The outsized monster you see before you started life as a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and then went through a big-time Hollywood makeover before being positioned on the Chevrolet stand here in Chicago.
This 2013 "Turbo" Camaro Coupe is getting the promotion machine ratcheted up for a new DreamWorks tale by the name of, you guessed it, Turbo. Coming this summer, the movie will follow one snail's quest to become a race driver worthy of making the cut at the Indy 500. Like many DreamWorks vehicles before it, we're guessing that the petrolhead snail will star in a movie that adults (especially racing fans) with have no trouble watching with their kids. Check out the trailer below to see if you agree.
As for the car, we're told that it is "instrumental" in transforming Turbo from snail into racer. Helping the beastly pony car in this mighty task, is an ankle-cracking front splitter matched by a ungodly huge rear wing out back, a COPO hood and a supercharged (yes, supercharged) V8 engine making more than 700 horsepower. 24-inch wheels all the way around - 10-inches wide in front and 15-inches wide in back - should allow the "Turbo" Camaro to hook up with ease, as well.

Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.
