I bought this truck approx 6.5 years ago with 20k miles on it, It has never had a fifth wheel installed nor has it ever been used for and heavy towing, I primarily used this truck for transporting antique gas pumps (in the bed) to customers around the country so the current mileage (161k) is 80 percent all highway. I also added "air-lift" air bags under the rear to keep the ride height proper when hauling several pumps at a time. It is an 8.1 liter GAS with Allison trans and 3.73 gears (hard to find combination). I have kept up the maintenance very well so mechanically I'm postivive it will last another 150k with continued proper care , oil changed and all fittings greased every 3k miles, transmission and rearend fluids changed every 5k, just installed 4 new rotors, all brake pads and 2 new batteries last week. Tires are about half and have been regularly rotated so thery are even. Cosmetically the paint is glossy but the truck does have some small stone chips mainly along the lower edges, also has a couple small dings here and there and a smooth dent in the drivers door. Driver seat has usual wear but rest of interior is good. It does have a 3 inch body lift with gap gaurds installed on the inner fenders, oversized tires and wheel spacers all the way around to give it a better appearance and add stability, a bedliner and the windows are all tinted. It still rides nice and is quiet with the exception of the tires, no squeeks, rattles, wind/air leaks or funny smells (non-smoker). No rust or rot issues, I also changed the grill and hood to the 2005 and newer style when I first got the truck because I think it looks better than what the 03-04 models come with. I am NOT a used car saleman so I may have forgot something so if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask, title is in hand. If your looking for a great all around truck and dont want to spend 40k plus then maybe this one will work for you !

GM says hybrid Corvette no laughing matter [w/poll]
Fri, 30 Aug 2013When Mark Reuss was in LA recently, he sat down to have a few words with the scribes at the Los Angeles Times. When the issue of a hybrid Corvette came up, Reuss answered with "Don't laugh." The General Motors president is a complete fan of the possibility, calling it "attractive" and "really fun," believing it would improve GM expertise and that "people would love it."
Naturally, the president being supportive of an idea doesn't give indication that a hybrid Corvette is on the way. However, with supercars like the Porsche 918 Spyder and Ferrari LaFerrari giving hybrid tech a solid, if remote, place in the performance car world, the inexorable trickle-down of technology means we shouldn't be surprised if and when it does happen.
And now that we have that non-negative half-answer to a speculative question, it would be irresponsible for us not to commence rumormilling for the C8 Corvette. Taking Reuss at his word, the C8 will obviously be a hybrid with all-wheel-drive - the left side wheels driven with electric motors, the right side with the mid-mounted, four-cylinder diesel engine. With coefficient of drag of just .16, figure on a 0-to-60 mile-per-hour time of under 2 seconds and an all-electric range of something like 30 miles at top speed. GM Design shows what could have been and what might be
Thu, May 27 2021We periodically like to check in with GM Design's Instagram account to see what they're cooking up. Even better is when we catch a glimpse of an alternate history of what legendary designers from The General's past were thinking, though those ideas may not have made it into production. This week, for example, the account posted some illustrations from George Camp, whose career at GM spanned nearly four decades, from 1963 to 2001. One of the renderings is of what appears to be a 1971-72 Pontiac GTO Judge, but with two headlights instead of the production unit's quad beams. The rear departs from the canonical version most dramatically, with a massive integrated wing. Other bits that didn't make the production cut include large side vents, a gill-like side marker and rectangular intakes below the headlights that wouldn't be out of place on a modern design today. Amazingly, from what we can make out of the date, it appears that the drawing was done sometime in 1965, which makes it quite prescient.      View this post on Instagram            A post shared by GM Design (@generalmotorsdesign) There's also a very aerodynamic interpretation of a Corvette ZR-1. To our eyes it splits the difference between the 1986 Corvette Indy concept and a fourth-generation F-body Pontiac Firebird, so perhaps parts of Camp's work on this sketch did make it into physical form. There's also a radical sports car concept from May 1970 that resembles the Mazda RX-500 concept from the same year, a Syd Mead-looking Cadillac coupe, and an Oldsmobile with a cool take on the company's trademark waterfall grille and elements of the Colonnade Cutlass at the rear.
