Hello!  I just acquired this truck today so all I have history wise is what the seller told me.  He seemed like an honest guy, so I made the deal.

This is a 2000 Chevy 2500 Silverado work truck with the emphasis on "work truck"!!  The seller told me that the guy he bought it from had the engine rebuilt around 20K miles ago.  But no papers were provided as proof.  But from how it runs and sounds, he probably is not lying about it. This truck looks really good from the distance, but as you get closer you see that the bed has been beat to hell. There are quite a few nit-picky things wrong with it, but as far as actually using it at the job site, or your farm/ranch or just for mudding, those little details won't matter.  What matters is that it has a powerful 6.0 V8 and a smooth shifting automatic transmission, and 4X4 that works!  I was also told that it has a locking rear end.  The AC works good.  The interior is kinda rough mainly because the lid to center seat console is broken and duck-taped.  The seats are kind of dirty, and could use a real detailing!  The windshield is cracked, but did not affect my visibility. the outside door handle on drivers side "4th" door is broken and gone.  but the door is easily opened by the inside handle. The handle to the hood release is broken off, but the cable is right there and easy to pull to release the hood. The tailgate handle is broken, and I have not tried to open it.  It doesn't look like there is any rust that I could tell.  The tires are good-year wranglers and are like new.  The exhaust sounds awesome!  Maybe flowmasters or something similar! Truck has 1 key and a key fob that will lock and unlock the doors.  The panic button is gone from key fob. This truck has a clear Alabama title.  The hood and front clip look good for this being a 13 year old work truck.  i only drove this truck a little, but I had it in the city and the highway and it drives really good and tracks nicely.  It has  a tow package.
Now please remember:  this is a work truck!!  I tried to capture all faults and good things that my camera could show.  If you want a show truck, then please look elsewhere!  if you want an everyday work truck that you won't mind scratching or getting scratched, here is your truck!  Please do not bid so that you can come look at it after the sale and tell me that this or that is wrong with it.  when you place a bid, it tells me that you read the description, and you looked at the pictures, and you have no further questions.  PLEASE ask all questions before you bid!  I do not like surprises and I know you don't either.
I expect payment within 3 days of end of auction.  It can sit in my yard as long as needed after I receive full payment.  If you need shipping, I recommend USHIP.COM.  I will not participate in the shipping process, but I will be as much help as possible to your shippers!
This is a great deal for the man or woman that needs a good affordable work truck!

Camaro SS facelift and dune-riding the new Mercedes-Benz GLS | Autoblog Podcast #579

Fri, May 3 2019

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Reese Counts and Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale. First, they talk about the newly refreshed Chevy Camaro SS. Then they dish on the cars they've been driving, including the Lexus UX, Lexus GS F and Volvo V90, as well as riding in the new Mercedes-Benz GLS. After that, they ask the question, how many AMG cars is too many? Finally they turn to car buying, and suggest potential vehicles for a shopper on Reddit for the "Spend My Money" segment. Will Chevy Bolt get Opel badge in Europe?

Sat, Mar 7 2015

General Motors' European plug-in vehicle name may go from A to B. That's because the Chevrolet Bolt could be sold under GM's Opel brand across the Pond, Automotive News Europe says, citing people familiar with the process that it declined to identify. The Ampera, the European version of the Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle, is being phased out due to poor sales. While the Ampera won the European Car of the Year in 2012, its sales have trended well below expectations. That the Bolt would be sold as an Opel hints to us that GM expects to distribute the electric vehicle in far smaller numbers than in the US. The Bolt, which was introduced in January in its concept version at the North American Auto Show in Detroit, will have a single-charge range of about 200 miles. GM representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGeen on Friday afternoon. The car will also have a price tag in the US of about $30,000, factoring in federal-government tax incentives. That's if those tax incentives are still around in 2017, when the Bolt is expected to debut stateside. All of the Bond cars of 'No Time To Die' (caution for spoilers)

Thu, Sep 30 2021

Note: The following overview of the cars in No Time To Die contains spoilers. Read at your own risk, or come back after seeing the film to make sure you caught everything.   No Time To Die picks up right around where Spectre leaves us. James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) are driving along in Bond’s restored and iconic DB5 in Matera, Italy. Things donÂ’t stay all that cheery for long in picturesque Matera, though. As is tradition in Bond films, the first car chase hits us with an explosion of action in what's a super-long opening scene. Fourth-gen Maserati Quattroporte: The baddies in the beginning are driving a Maserati and chasing after Bond in the DB5. Specifically, theyÂ’re in a fourth-gen Quattroporte, which feels right for a chase scene in Italy. Its squared-off looks are mean enough, and its Italian growl is a good background soundtrack to the DB5Â’s inline-six. In addition to the Quattroporte, the chase scene in Matera is home to a couple of the best stunts of the entire movie, including the arch jump done with a Triumph motorcycle seen in trailers — Matera is extremely hilly. Eventually, Bond and Swann find themselves in the DB5 again together, which is where the famous gatling gun scene from the trailer commences, but not before the bulletproof windows and body of the DB5 are thoroughly tested. RIP to the first-gen Range Rover Classics and Jaguar XFs that joined the Maserati in pursuit of Bond (here's a list of other Bond cars over the years). As the DB5 escape scene concludes, we catch a glimpse of what appears to be a Ferrari from the 1970s. However, the view was far enough away that weÂ’ll need a second look to be sure of the exact model. Land Rover Series III: Next time we see Bond, heÂ’s fishing in Jamaica and driving around a blue Land Rover Series III. ItÂ’s yet another of the many Land Rover products featured throughout the film, and unlike most of BondÂ’s Aston Martins, this one doesnÂ’t seem to have any unique features. The other intriguing vehicle out of Jamaica? An old Chevrolet Bel-Air expertly and effectively piloted by Bond newcomer, Ana de Armas. Next up, we get a few shots of the new and still-not-for-sale Aston Martin Valhalla mid-engine supercar (also seen in trailers). BondÂ’s old boss M is in the scene which appears to have been shot in some secret wind tunnel of sorts. Much to our dismay, nobody ends up driving the Valhalla in the film. Could it be a teaser for what the next 007Â’s car is?
