Sale Specifics: This is a sale for a Red 2007 Silverado 1500 4x4 - New Body Style. It is a 4x4 vehicle with 32,300 miles.

Condition: the vehicle is very clean inside, during the time of my ownership I would have the vehicle detailed once every two months by a mobile car wash service. And I've had the vehicle polished and waxed periodically every 6 to 8 months.

Features/Accessories: when this vehicle was purchased a lot if not all optional accessories were added to the base model. The following is a list of the features/accessories this vehicle includes.

Electronic four wheel drive - to engage four wheel drive you simply place the vehicle in neutral and engage the four wheel drive switch located in the lower portion of the drivers dashboard. Four wheel drive settings include low four wheel drive for high torque (meant for low speed and pulling) as well as high four wheel drive for low torque and/or higher speeds.
Fog Lights - when the vehicle is running the headlights turn on automatically, additionally you can select to turn on fog lights which are located below the standard headlights (close to the ground).

History: This Red 2007 Silverado 4x4 1500 has been part of my family since it was initially purchased new at a Chevrolet dealership in San Diego. It was initially my grandfathers vehicle however, I took over ownership and making the final payments on the vehicle in 2010. During my ownership the vehicle was used primarily for college commuting and leisure travel. Thus, this vehicle has Super Low Mileage.

PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]

PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Watch the National Corvette Museum sinkhole being filled in by R/C cars

Okay, so not exactly cars, but Bobcats - but still quite cool. You might remember that the National Corvette Museum had that little divot that needed to be filled in. Turns out the construction firm of Scott, Murphy & Daniel doing the work is using two remote-controlled Bobcats to fill the sinkhole with "manufactured sand," which in this case is crushed limestone. It appears that the Bobcat company has offered remote operation since at least 2007 via a wireless transmitter that works up to 1,500 feet away. So yes, that means two SMD employees stand on the edge of the pit and flick joystick levers for hours at a time, one in charge of a Bobcat with a roller-compactor attachment, the other in charge of a Bobcat with a bucket. How Chevy used popular Instagram user to promote 2016 Volt

A picture is worth a thousand words. When it comes to Chevrolet and its Volt extended-range plug-in, the automaker is hoping pictures can be turned into a few more buyers. The company extended a little love to one popular social-media practitioner to see if the trick works. Former biochemical engineer Kevin Lu started his Instagram account a couple of years ago during a road trip, and the quality of his shots has attracted about 181,000 followers. With that popularity in mind, Chevy brought Lu up to Detroit to check out the unveiling of the next-generation Volt at the Detroit Auto Show last month. Lu also got to see the Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly factory where the Volt is built, Automotive News reports. As for the next-gen Volt, Chevy says a more efficient powertrain and lighter battery help give the car an all-electric range of up to 50 miles and a total driving distance of more than 400 miles. Chevy also touts the model's streamlined grille and (tight) seating for three in the rear. General Motors hopes a combination of those improvements and exposure from sources such as Lu and his Instagram account (and some sleepy ads, apparently) revitalize sales of the model. Last year, Volt sales fell 19 percent to 18,805 units.
