I have owned this truck for about 2 years, there were only 933 of these trucks produced. Its a very rare truck, Ive only put about 4,000 miles on it since ive had it, its just time to let someone else enjoy the truck. Its a 2006 Silverado SS intimidator edition, it has a 6.0 vortec max ls v8 345hp, the truck has 115,000 miles. The truck is a 2 wheel drive and has traction control. The truck has amazing power for a big truck, some other features only the intimidator trucks had were a lower ride height, performance suspension, two stage multi leaf springs, Tenneco shocks, stiffer front sway bar and harder front jounce bar. It also has dale Earnhardt embroidered head rests and a rear spoiler. The interior on this truck is a 9 out of 10 its very clean and well taken care of, the leather is all nice and all the buttons work as they should. The truck has a bose radio, sunroof, heated leather seats, all the options you could get in 06. The exterior is a 8 out of 10, it has a couple small scratches that show up on black and one larger scratch on the drivers door( see pictures). The paint shines nice and deep and has been well cared for. The truck has always been local so theres no rust anywhere. The wheels look great and it has a brand new set of tires with maybe 2k miles on them. The inside of the bed has never had a bedliner and has some scratches from minor use. Overall this will make someone a nice truck to drive everyday or keep for a weekend driver, these trucks will be few and far between one day so don't miss out. It's never been in a accident or had any paint work. I have a receipt from the original owner where he paid 53k for the truck new. Im selling at no reserve so bid to win, if you have any questions please call or text before you bid. I have three ways you can get the truck, you can come pick it up in person here in science hill ky, I can pick you up at the Lexington ky airport and you can fly in and drive home, or I can have it shipped for you, I have a friend that transports cars so I can get you a cheap quote, Call anytime or text is fine (Jordan) 606-305-2885

These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.

Looking back at the Citation IV concept that likely shaped the GM EV1
Wed, Aug 20 2014Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it. We're not sure how that applies to the GM EV1, but we'd still like to share something from Autoline Daily, an online automotive new show with our friend John McElroy. He's been covering the business for decades now and recently found something interesting: pictures of the 1984 Chevrolet Citation IV concept, seen above. Displayed half a decade before the first electric concept that would become the EV1 (inset), McElroy says it's now clear that the elegant, aerodynamic EV1 took a lot of styling cues from the Citation IV, which was developed in part thanks to GM's new-at-the-time Aerodynamics Laboratory. We agree with him that the spats over the rear wheels, the flush glass, and the covered headlights all bear a certain kind of similarity between the two cars. That the colors almost match is a nice coincidence. The Impact (the concept version of the EV1) looked "frumpier," McElroy says, because it wasn't as long as the Citation. You can read a lot more about the Citation IV here and check out McElroy's thoughts in the video below. Find the Citation starting at around 3:45. This content is hosted by a third party.
