I have had this truck since early 2005 and it has never let me down. The title is clean and in my name. It has been in one minor accident - someone ran into me in a parking lot. All body repairs were done by a professional auto body shop.
- Borla turn down exhaust package.
- K&N cone intake package. Freshly cleaned - good for a long time.
- 2 x 12" subs mounted in turn down box under back seat.
- 1000w amplifier hidden behind back seat.
- Bed cover.
- Rhino lined bed.
- The front windshield is brand new, I have never driven with it.
- I recently replaced the stock CD changers with the exact same unit because the original CD changer would not eject CD's.
- All fluids have recently been replaced (oil, transmission, ect).
- All gauges work as intended and there are no indicator lights showing.
- I recently had the truck detailed, inside and out.
- The truck recently passed an emissions test in Colorado.
- Driver side rear door is scraped. See pictures.
- Front bumper is scraped. See pictures.
- Back bumper has a ding. See pictures.
- Passenger door has a loose piece. See pictures. This part rests in the correct position, but is loose if pulled on.
- Front windows are tinted at 20% and showing a little wear.
- Removable carpets are pretty dirty. They come with the truck and are currently sitting in the bed.
- I did not renew the registration because I have been intending to sell this truck for a few months now.
- The windshield wipers do not eject fluid like they once did, this should be a simple fix.
- The buyer will need to consider new tires soon, although these tires have some tread left - I was planning on buying new tires before 100,000 miles.
- Left driver side mirror has some minor damage, everything works fine. See pictures.
- Passenger seat has some staining on the leather. It looks like a letter was wet and some of the ink got on the seat. See pictures. The item on the floor of this picture is the front license plate mount. I never used a front plate, but the mount comes with the truck.
- As of this morning, I cannot find the original set of keys, remote unlock, key to bed cover. Will be included with the truck if it surfaces, else truck will only be sold with the spare set of keys.

Should heavy-duty pickup trucks have window stickers with fuel mileage estimates?
Sat, Sep 23 2017If you were to stroll into your nearest Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Nissan, or Ram dealership, you'd find a bunch of pickup trucks. Most of those would have proper window stickers labeled with things like base prices, options prices, location of manufacture, and, crucially, fuel economy estimates. But you'd also run across a number of heavy-duty trucks with no such fuel mileage data from the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA doesn't require automakers to publish the valuable miles-per-gallon measurement for vehicles with gross weight ratings that exceed 8,500 pounds. That makes it difficult for consumers to compare behemoths powered by turbocharged diesel engines – between one another, and between smaller, gasoline-fueled trucks. Consumer Reports doesn't think it should be this way, and it's spearheading an effort (PDF link) to get the government to require manufacturers to publish fuel economy estimates. In its own testing, CR found that heavy-duty pickups powered by Ford's Power Stroke, GM's Duramax, and FCA's Cummins diesel engines (which doesn't include the Ram's EcoDiesel) get worse fuel mileage than their lighter-duty gas-powered siblings. We're not so sure HD-truck buyers are unaware of this fact – big diesels don't really come into their own until big loads are placed in their beds or attached to their trailer hitches. Under heavy workloads, the diesel trucks will almost certainly return greater efficiency than a similar gas-powered truck. What's more, HD trucks with lumbering diesels in general make the driver feel more confident while towing due to greater torque at low engine RPM than gas trucks. They also offer greater max-weight limits. Still, we agree EPA fuel mileage estimates should be offered for heavy-duty pickups. And we think the comparisons provided by Consumer Reports might be interesting to potential buyers. Click here to see the results of CR's tests, and let us know what you think using the poll below. Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.
Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.
