I haven't fixed it due it being a 2nd vehicle to haul things in now and then."

Up for sale is my 2003 Chevy 1500 HD Crew Cab truck 4 wheel drive truck.

It has the 6.0 liter engine with Automatic Transmission, just like the 3/4 tons. This truck Runs Great.

Truck has the multi-disc CD player, bed liner and the factory Tow Package with Tow Mode on the shifter.

All four side windows and the rear window are tinted.

It has never had a fifth wheel hitch or a goose neck hitch installed in it, so very heavy loads have never been pulled behind it.

The only reason I'm selling this truck is because I need a truck for my farm which will pull a lot more weight. I've maintained this truck as if I was going to keep it for a long time. It does have some dings in the lower driver's side bed due to the previous owner driving it with a flat tire and beating it up a little. It's not that much $ to have fixed and painted if you wanted. I've already checked on doing that myself and was quoted $400.

I have a Clean & Clear Missouri title ready to sign over to the new owner.

I had new Big O brand Big Foot LT265/75-16 tires installed on it within the last few hundred miles and a front end alignment performed to make sure they wear evenly. The water pump was also replaced due to it starting to squeak.

List of maintenance items I've done to this truck within the last 5,000 miles.
Front Differential fluid changed with Synthetic fluid.
Transfer Case fluid changed with GM AutoTrak II.
Rear Differential drained, cleaned, inspected and filled with synthetic fluid.
Engine flushed and Oil & filter changed.
Complete brake job including Ceramic brake pads on front and rear of truck.
Spark Plugs and spark plug wires were changed.
Stainless Steel Magna-Flow muffler with lifetime warranty and tail pipe installed.

The transmission was changed out with a brand new GM factory transmission when it had just over 180k miles on it, so the tranny only has 30,000 miles on it. Truck currently has 210,520 miles on it and changes due to driving it every couple days or so.

This truck is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction if I sell it locally before it's over.

Thanks for Looking!

On Jul-08-13 at 15:21:06 PDT, seller added the following information:

As of July 8th, 2013 this truck also has a Brand New A/C Compressor, Filter Drier and Orifice Tube.

The proper amount of Oil and R-134 Refrigerant has been added to A/C system and is nice and cold.

Burt Reynolds' vehicles up for auction at Barrett-Jackson

Tue, Sep 25 2018

Burt Reynolds' influence on car culture cannot be overstated. Be it "Smokey and the Bandit" or "Cannonball Run," his films inspired a generation of car enthusiasts. He died a few weeks back from cardiac arrest at age 82. This weekend, four vehicles from Reynolds' personal collection — three Pontiacs and a Chevy — will go up for auction at Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas. It seems Reynolds had plans to sell the cars before he passed. He even filmed a short teaser for the auction and planned to attend the event himself. Three of the cars are Pontiac Trans Ams. Two are re-creations of the cars he drove in "Bandit" and the film "Hooper." Both are 1978 models. The third Trans Am is from 1984 and was used to promote Reynolds' USFL team, the Tampa Bay Bandits. The fourth vehicle is a 1978 Chevy R30 pickup truck. It's styled like the truck he drove in "Cannonball Run." None of the vehicles were actually used in the movies. But they were registered in his name, making them far more legitimate than some other movie-inspired clones. It's unclear how many Bandit Trans Ams Reynolds has owned over the years. Another car connected to him sold for $450,000 back in 2014. His death is sure to drive the price of these new cars even higher. AMC Trans Am Javelin SST, an ultra-rare underdog, is up for auction

Sat, Sep 9 2023

Among the rarest of the American muscle cars that went racing in the early Seventies — cars including the Camaro Z/28 and the Boss 302 Mustang — the 1970 AMC Trans Am Javelin SST may be the most hard to find, and among the most valuable. Only 100 units of this unique Javelin were produced, and one of them is up for auction at the Mecum event in Dallas on September 20. The Trans Am Javelin was fashioned in a patriotic livery of tricolor paint — red, white and blue — and arrived after the American Motors Corporation had decided in 1968 to compete in the Trans Am racing series against Ford and General Motors. The company's chief driver, Mark Donohue, would dominate the 1971 season, taking seven wins in his Javelin AMX and that yearÂ’s SCCA Trans-Am Championship. AMC took the trophy with 82 points, well ahead of Ford's 61, Chevrolet's 17 and Pontiac's paltry 7. The example listed for auction came equipped with a 390-cubic-inch V-8 engine with 325 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 420 pound-feet of torque, power steering and brakes, dual exhaust, BorgWarner four-speed manual transmission and Hurst competition shifter. Its “ram induction system” sealed a chamber around the air filter so that cool air from the functional hood scoop would be funneled into the intake. This JavÂ’s factory price was $3,995 — a mere $32,000 or so in today's money, though it was expensive by the standards of the time. The 100 Trans Ams were among 19,714 Javelin units built in 1970, so they started out rare, and today the surviving examples are highly collectible, if and when they come up for sale. No bid estimate is available yet. Related Video: Motorsports Chevrolet Ford Pontiac Auctions Automotive History Racing Vehicles Classics
