2001 Chevrolet Silverado Custom, Extended Cab, Low Rider, One Owner, Low Miles, on 2040-cars
Harker Heights, Texas, United States
This is an awesome attention getting 2001 Chevy truck. I purchased this truck in 2001 from the dealer and began customizing it shortly after. I'm selling it because I have more vehicles than parking. I have truly enjoyed this truck and its time for someone else to have some fun with it. The A/C is ice cold. The paint job is custom. Its factory yellow with Hugger Orange flames with long licks that fade to ghost. This is a Show Quality Paint job that can be entered into competitions. Front end is chromed out with billet grill insert. As you will see in these pics there is a lot of custom work done to this truck and I can send you any pics or info you would like. All Alpine door speakers and tweeters provide the mid-range and highs for any music of your choice and are powered by Alpine Amplifier. The Sub is under the rear seat and is powered by Rockford Fosgate 1500 amp. The Alpine MP3 player and XM Tuner is remote controlled and I mostly play my Ipod on it. All maintenance has been kept up with. Tires are a Year old. Rims are nice but showing a little wear. I appreciate your interest in my truck and I'm positive you are going to enjoy driving it. Any additional info or photos will be provided upon request. Shipping can be negotiated.

Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
Sinkhole Opens Up In National Corvette Museum, Swallows Eight Cars
Wed, Feb 12 2014More cars are being moved inside the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. to avoid falling down the same sinkhole that swallowed eight classic sports cars early this morning, Autoblog reported. Museum officials said the hole was discovered when motion sensors activated around 5:45 a.m. The rescue mission can be viewed on the museum's live feed cameras, which weren't working after the sinkhole emerged. A 1993 ZR-1 Spyder and a 2009 ZR1 "Blue Devil," both on loan from General Motors, were among the cars that fell into the sinkhole. The museum owned the other affected Corvettes, which included a 1963 Corvette, a 1984 PPG Pace Car and the 1 millionth Corvette ever produced. The state of the cars at the bottom of the hole isn't known, but trial lawyer and sinkhole expert Ted Corless said the cars may be a total loss for the museum and GM. "Most states, including Kentucky, exclude damage caused by sinkhole activity," he said. "There will be, in all likelihood, a claim made, but a lot of policies would specifically exclude these kinds of damages." Corless has 15 years experience dealing with sinkholes. He said that typically neither the building, nor the cars themselves are protected under their insurance policies. "I would have to say, more likely then not, they're going to have an uninsured loss measured in the hundreds of thousands of dollars." The museum is closed Wednesday while a structural engineer assesses the damage. GM files to trademark name Badlands
Mon, Feb 23 2015If you've been hoping for General Motors to come out swinging at the Ford F-150 Raptor, we've had some tantalizing news for you of late. Last month we brought you a report that indicated GM has trademarked the name "Z71 Trail Boss," suggesting a potential hardcore off-roader. Now it seems the General has filed for a potentially even better name. That name, as our friends over at GM Authority have discovered, is "Badlands." The application, filed on February 16, indicates that it's for a truck, but of course it doesn't specify just what form it would take... or for that matter, under which division it would fall. So we could, in theory, be looking at the nameplate for a Raptor rival from Chevy or GMC (like the 2011 Sierra All Terrain HD concept pictured here), or for some other trim level, a concept truck, a special edition... just about anything. Heck, it could be for a Vauxhall, Opel or Holden for all we know at this point. Or GM could choose not to use it on anything at all, but here's hoping it'll emerge as something awesome in US showrooms sometime soon.
