2001 Chevy S-10 ZR2 package. Truck needs a transmission and tail light harness. This has been my daily driver for several years. Recently the transmission has started slipping in 3rd and 4th gear. The rear running lights do not work right now, it could just be a loose ground but I have not had a chance to look into it. In the last year I have replaced the radiator, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, throttle position sensor, new calipers and brakes, and spark plugs. I do not have the time to replace the transmission so I am just going to sell it instead. The two front tires are practically brand new (BFG 31x10.5), the back tires have about 30% tread left on them. Interior looks good and the oil has been changed regularly since I have owned the vehicle. Also has a spray in bedliner with a cover for the bed. Body is in good condition, normal wear and tear associated. The third door handle is broken (easy fix) and the plastic housing around the tailgate handle is broken as well. Buy it now and I will personally deliver within 300 miles.

Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady gives Chevy Colorado to Malcolm Butler [w/poll]
Tue, Feb 3 2015Winning the Super Bowl, we'd imagine, is pretty sweet. Winning the MVP award at the Super Bowl, even more so – for many reasons, among them that you get a brand new Chevy Colorado, packed full of, you know... technology and stuff. Of course this year's Most Valuable Player was none other than Tom Brady, the New England Patriots quaterback who was crowned Super Bowl MVP for the third time and lead the Pats to win the Super Bowl for the fourth time. He makes tens of millions every season, and Mrs. Brady (a.k.a. Gisele Bundchen) probably makes an extraordinarily pretty penny herself. So what does one of the most successful and wealthy players in NFL history need with a new pickup truck? Not a whole lot, apparently: the Boston Business Journal reports that he gave the truck to Malcolm Butler, the rookie cornerback who intercepted Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson's pass on the Patriots' one-yard line with only twenty seconds to go and sealed the victory for New England. Which strikes us as a fitting gesture, even if Brady did keep the MVP trophy for himself. Chevy Bolt EV, Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Ridgeline take 2017 NACTOY prizes
Mon, Jan 9 2017Every year the 2017 North American International Auto Show kicks off with the North American Car of the Year Awards. We say "awards" after all those mentions of our home continent because it's not just cars. This year, in fact, the awards spread out to three separate honors: Car, Truck, and Utility. And without further ado, here are the winners. The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV is the Car of the Year, the Honda Ridgeline is the Truck of the Year, and the Chrysler Pacifica is the Utility of the Year. Honda's win is perhaps the biggest surprise, upsetting favorite the Ford F Super Duty for the win. The second-generation Ridgeline rides on a unibody platform and is offered in front- or all-wheel-drive, which is unconventional for a pickup. But the layout also offers a cargo bed with an in-floor trunk and solid fuel economy figures of 19 city, 26 highway in its most-efficient form. The Chevy Bolt EV, however, was probably the easiest winner to predict. Its 238-mile range and sub-$30,000 starting price after tax credits make it a breakthrough in the landscape of electric vehicles. With the Chrysler Pacifica available in a plug-in hybrid form, this year's award illustrates the industry's shift towards efficiency and electrification. And with Ford's recent announcement on future EVs, it might not be long will it be until we see a hybrid truck on the award stage as well.Related Video:
