This 49 is a Very Nice driver, this tuck has never been fully restored, it has had a paint job years back and looks great with a nice shine, there are a few nics and chips and a scratch, but over all it still looks very presentable and turns heads! it has been up graded with new wiring and a 12v system, the engine is completely rebuilt with approx.: 200 miles on it, not the original engine it is a 54 model 235 six, the rest of the drivetrain is original,
the original wood bed is there but needs to be replaced, there has been a steel panel laid on top of the wood, it would not be a big task to replace the wood and bring it back to it's original condition, the interior is in fantastic condition, but the original radio was replaced with an aftermarket one,

2014 Corvette Stingray meets Tesla Model S in drag strip showdown
Wed, Jan 29 2014They come from two different worlds and have little in common. The Tesla Model S P85 is the sportiest version of this paradigm-punching sedan from California, while the 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 is a performance-enhanced version of Michigan's recently-updated sports car stalwart. The West Coast car seats five adults and eats electrons like Popeye eats spinach, the Easterner has two passenger places and, surprisingly, sips gasoline like one might bourbon. An attribute they do happen to share is extreme quickness. This similarity is all the excuse Drag Times needed to set the vehicles beside each other at the Palm Beach International Raceway for a bit of mano-a-mano quarter-mile combat. Fortunately enough, cameras were rolling for each of two bouts down the blacktop and the results recorded for our edification and enlightenment. The winner? Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
