Up for auction is my 1986 S/10, Street /Rat Rod Bracket Race Truck. Yes You could do all three with this truck because I do. I don't know where to start, so I will give the best describtion of what it has & you take your pick on what you want to call it. I have many hours & dollars spent on this ride & its been a fun little truck, but its time for somebody else to play with it. Ok what it has IS A 5 INCH CHOP TOP WITH A TILT FRONT, 9 IN FORD REAR END (430 gears mroso axcles) & a new 383 STROKE engine 400 Tranny. TUBE with 18.5 TIRES ALL UP UNDER NEATH. SO WITH ALL THAT BEING COOL ITS ALSO VERY FAST,IF IT WAS FLAT BLACK IT COULD BE A NICE RAT ROD. PUT SLICKS ON IT GO DRAG RACING OR JUST DRIVE IT DOWN THE STREET TO YOUR LOCAL CAR SHOW. CHECK OUT THE PICTURES & YOU DECIDE. I HAVE SOME EXTRA PARTS I MAY THROW IN. IF IT BRINGS ENOUGH MONEY OR THE NEW OWNER WANTS. LIKE I SAID I HAVE MANY HOURS & $ IN THIS TRUCK & I SET THE RESERVE FOR ABOUT WHAT THE BACK HALF REAR END & TIRES COST, LET ALONE A NEW MOTOR ,CHOP TOP & TILT FRONT END COST, COULD USE A NEW PAINT JOB BUT NOT TO BAD THE WAY IT IS it WOULD be COOL AS A RATROD I THINk. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS CALL ME, CAUSE I'M NOT ON HERE MUCH & AS YOU CAN SEE I DONT TYPE VERY GOOD & WILL BE GLAD TO TELL YOU ANYTHING YOU MIGHT WANT TO NO OR COME BY & LOOK AT IT. IF YOU LIKE TRUCKS, HOT RODS OR SOMETHING THAT NO ONE ELSE HAS DOWN THE STREET THIS IS IT. WOULD CONSIDER SELLING AS A ROLLER ASK BEFORE BIDDING ( I've miss place the TITLE ) So I will be selling this cool little truck with Bill of sale only, If the buyer wants I could aply for a lost one , or I may find the old one,but it will take a week or so for my mistake. So I lower my reserve. Somebody is going to get a nice truck for a fraction of the money to built. Thanks for looking bob 812 617 1222

Here are 12 electric pickups in the works
Wed, Oct 21 2020With the unveiling of the GMC Hummer EV, the list of planned electric pickups is expanding. Legacy automakers like Ford and Chevy have theirs coming, as do startups like Tesla, Rivian and Bollinger, as well as some lesser known brands. Here are all the electric pickup trucks we know to be in the works, along with a few that are being discussed or mulled over. GMC Hummer EV The 2022 GMC HUMMER EV is a first-of-its kind supertruck develop View 40 Photos We’ve seen it now, and itÂ’s the business. The GMC Hummer EV comes out swinging with 1,000 horsepower from GMÂ’s new Ultium electric powertrain program, a wealth of off-road features, a removable roof, Super Cruise and the revival of the Hummer name. WeÂ’ll see the first ones on the road next fall. Tesla Cybertruck Tesla Cybertruck at the Petersen Museum View 14 Photos Tesla revealed the Cybertruck last year with, ahem, unique styling, a number of powertrain options and a claimed range of up to 500 miles. It has a compressed paper dash, a ramp for the bed, and “shatterproof” windows. It has already racked up hundreds of thousands of reservations. It will be built in Texas. Rivian R1T 2021 Rivian R1T View 15 Photos EV startup Rivian revealed its R1T electric pickup toward the end of 2018 with a claimed 0-60 time of 3 seconds and a towing capability of 11,000 pounds. Preproduction began in September 2020 at RivianÂ’s factory in Normal, Illinois. Bollinger Motors B2 Bollinger Motors B2 side outdoors View 31 Photos BollingerÂ’s B2 electric pickup is a Class 3 off-roader with retro styling, removable roof panels, and a unique “frunkgate” with a pass-through down the center of the vehicle. It was created with both enthusiasts and workers in mind, with features that can get it to remote places (portal axles, hydro-pneumatic suspension) and to get things done (room for 40 2x4s, equipped with eight 110-volt outlets and one 220-volt outlet). Bollinger also plans to make the B2 Chassis Cab available for fleet customization. Ford F-150 Electric Electric Ford F-150 Towing View 9 Photos WeÂ’ve known this to be in the works since early 2019. Since then, details have trickled out. Back in June, Ford announced its F-150 Electric would be coming within two years. WeÂ’ve seen it pull a million pounds worth of train and trucks, heard it will have more power than any other F-150, and seen its LED-laden front end.
2015 Chevy Tahoe gets Police Patrol Vehicle treatment
Thu, 07 Nov 2013That was fast. Mere days after showing a Police Concept based on the 2015 Tahoe at the SEMA Show, Chevrolet has announced that it will build a PPV model based on the SUV to do battle with the Ford Police Interceptor Utility (Explorer) and Dodge Durango Special Service.
You'll recall that the Tahoe has been police staple for several years, predating both the Explorer and Durango police variants, so the fact that the new model would spawn a police variant is hardly surprising. Like the civilian model, the 2015 PPV benefits from a more efficient 5.3-liter, direct-injection V8 that pumps out 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. It also features more high-strength steel, offering better crash protection, on top of optional safety items like lane departure warning, forward collision alert and a Safety Alert Seat.
The press release is rather light on police-specific items, aside from the auxiliary battery, which keeps the myriad of electronics in a modern police car running even when the engine isn't. Lightbars, 17-inch steel wheels on Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires and a push bar round out the mods for the Tahoe PPV. The cabin features a revised center console and room for laptop and other equipment mounts.
Burt Reynolds' movie re-creations fetch $379,500 in Vegas
Wed, Oct 3 2018The recent death of Hollywood legend and automotive enthusiast Burt Reynolds helped drive up the value of four of his former cars from the 1970s and '80s, which sold last weekend at Barrett-Jackson's Las Vegas auction for a combined $379,500. Reynolds, who died Sept. 6 at age 82, had offered three Pontiac Trans Ams — two of them re-creations of the cars he drove in "Smokey and the Bandit" and "Hooper" and the third from 1984 used to promote his United States Football League team, the Tampa Bay Bandits. The fourth was a 1978 Chevrolet R30 pickup truck, styled like the one featured in "Cannonball Run." The "Bandit" re-creation, a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that Reynolds ordered to be as "movie-correct" as possible but featuring a custom-built 200-4R automatic transmission, sold for $192,500. The car features a freshly built Pontiac 400 cubic-inch V8 mated to a four-speed automatic and featuring all-new Butler Performance parts and air-conditioning components. Reynolds reportedly said this was his favorite car from his films, and it even came with an authentic movie-correct CB radio and CB antenna. The red retro-rocket "Hooper" '78 Firebird, with a 403 cubic-inch V8 and a three-speed automatic, hammered for $88,000. By comparison, a gold 1978 Trans Am also offered at the Las Vegas auction but not connected to Reynolds fetched $27,500. The 1987 Chevy R30 pickup was a re-creation of the Indy Hauler pace truck seen jumping over a moving freight train in "Cannonball Run." It hammered for $49,500. The fourth car never appeared in any of Reynolds' films but is instead the only surviving example of two Trans Ams used to promote the Tampa Bay Bandits of the now-defunct USFL, having been driven out onto the field by Reynolds and his late friend and co-star, Jerry Reed, during opening day one season. It also sold for $49,500. At the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in 2016, Reynolds accompanied a 1977 Trans Am used to promote "Bandit" onto the auction block. That car sold for $550,000.
