This truck is a 1984 Chevrolet S10 with an Isuzu diesel 2.2 engine, with 5-speed transmission. Truck runs exceptionally well. The engine does not run hot, transmission does not jump out of any gears. The engine does not have any excessive smoke.
The body is solid. Has a little surface rust on the bottom of the right door. Other than that, it is rust free. Tires about 70%. The actual mileage of the truck is not known. When the last owner transferred it in 4/13 - there was no mileage listed on the title. The engine starts up very good in cold weather. The main thing wrong with the truck is what you see - it needs a dash pad, and needs to be painted (if you want it all one color). This is not a new truck, but one, with a little love and care, could service someone for a long time. Truck is sold as is/where is - truck should be able to drive anywhere you want to go. GM to restore legendary Corvette damaged in sinkhole accident
Fri, Dec 5 2014Car lover's hearts' sank when they saw images of bent and destroyed classic Corvettes at the bottom of a sinkhole last February after the floor of the National Corvette Museum gave way. General Motors announced Wednesday it would restore the one millionth Corvette ever produced to its former glory. The 1992 convertible was heavily damaged when a 40-foot deep sinkhole opened beneath a bevy of rare cars at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Since then, GM has been slowly restoring the classic cars, though five of the eight that caught in the sinkhole were determined to be too damaged to repair. This November, the 2009 Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil was the first car to be returned in mint condition to the Museum, according to Autoblog. It suffered significant damage but was still drivable after being pulled out of the debris. The one millionth Corvette is still in bad shape. The automaker is estimating six months worth of work to restore the car, which sustained paint scratches, rear-suspension damage and a mangled front fender. 2014 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra full configurators truck in
Sat, 15 Jun 2013You can now put prices to your wildest option-sheet dreams of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. A microsite for the full-size pickup truck twins has been up since January, and now the full-blown configurator is live and ready to take your virtual orders. The only two chassis configurations available at the moment are the Crew Cab with either a short or standard bed - Regular and Double Cab versions will come later. In Silverado flavors that will run you $32,710 for the short box, $33,010 for the standard box, while the Sierra adds a $1,500 premium to both of those prices, and destination and handling for both models adds another $995.
Since these are American pickups the list of modifications is lengthy, but we added $11,450 in just two steps by starting with the Silverado Crew Cab and standard bed, then checking four-wheel drive and the LTZ Z71 package. Our final truck, resplendent in Brownstone Metallic paint, heated and cooled Cocoa/Dune perforated leather seating and tasty details like chrome recovery hooks, and engine block heater and LED cargo box lighting, rang up $57,285 at the candy store.
They'll be on dealer lots sometime this summer, so now's a good time to start practicing your box-checking.
