Good Luck to all bidders on this 1966 Chevrolet C-10 Step-Side Rat Rod Pick Up Truck Project. You are about to bid on a rolling chassis vehicle which means it comes with out a motor, and transmission. Suspension and brakes (4wheel Drum 6 Lug) need to be gone through. New set of front rims and tires will be needed for truck to roll (set in photos 14' and are binding on control arms). Once this is done, install transmission and engine (which you will need to acquire elsewhere) and bolt down the seats, add a radiator (also acquired by you elsewhere) connect the already installed drive shaft and go. This is a pretty solid 66 C-10 but its far from a show truck. Would make a real cool rat rod as it looks good from far but is far from perfect. Priced for someone to slap in a motor, trans, and drive it!!!! Feel free to contact me to come see it in person and this will convince you to bid strong.

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
