Auction is for a 1955 Chevrolet 3100 step side truck on a 1994 S-10 chassis that is full Air ride and 4 linked in the rear with a Ford 9" rearend. This truck is almost complete just needing some finishing and just have to many projects to complete this one. This truck comes with a brand new 3rd member as pictured for the 9" has all brand new airbags and compressor system with tanks approx 5 gal. all air ride is wired and plumbed works perfect. Truck has brand new wiring that is nearly complete just needs lights and starter small stuff finished. We sentauge cluster out and it was rebuilt and zeroed now to work with the new truck(wasn't cheap!). Truck also has a new rebuilt powerglide that had extensive work in the rebuild built tough around $2000 on that. The engine is a 350 H.o crate motor that has around 25k on it paperwork is included and pictured. As you can see the truck has good sheetmetal and where it was bad it was repaired with new panels, all the glass is nice as pictured one wing window has a crack. This truck comes with about enough to complete it has brand new fuel tank behind the seat and all boxes of parts brackets alternator chrome and power steering parts. This 93-car Iowa auction is like a Big 3 classic muscle museum
Tue, Aug 27 2019Bill "Coyote" Johnson has been buying cars since high school and has amassed a collection totaling 113 vehicles, according to NBC 6 News. But time has changed his motivations and priorities, and he's decided to auction 93 of those cars, many of which are classic muscle from Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Plymouth and Pontiac. The megasale will take place Sept. 14, 2019, in Red Oak, Iowa, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. A 1969 Plymouth Road Runner infected Coyote with a love for Detroit muscle when he was just a teenager, and his desire quickly turned into an obsession. He's spent the past 40 years finding, buying and working on a variety of makes and models. Unlike some collectors, Coyote didn't discriminate against certain brands and has rides from each of the Big 3 automakers. Included in the auction are Camaros, Satellites, Super Bees, Chargers, Challengers, Barracudas, Coronets, GTOs, Mustangs, Cutlasses and others. Possibly the most intriguing aspect of the auction is that all of these cars will be sold as-is with no reserve. Many of them will need work, depending on quality standards, but this seems like a golden opportunity to find a classic car without leaving a bank account in shambles. The auctions are open for bidding online now, and the full auction will take place on September 14. Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it
Wed, 06 Nov 2013We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
