Up for auction is a 1952
Chevy Dump Truck that was recently donated to a national charitable foundation
and is being sold with NO
RESERVE. The vehicle is equipped
with a 6cyl engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. The odometer
shows 91,094 miles. It’s fairly well equipped with most of the
options. The seats are brown and appear to be in decent condition,
although a good detail will make a huge difference. The exterior of
the car is green and is showing signs of wear and is faded. It has a
few door dings and scratches. The tires appear to HAVE ROUGHLY 35%
road life left. Please

vehicle does NOT run or drive. ***The
engine is missing parts and needs replacing.*** ***This

This vehicle comes with
a clear California Title and its Registration was valid
through 3/04. All taxes, fees,
and penalties due to the DMV, are the responsibility of the buyer.
This vehicle was
donated! Therefore we do not have ANY
information regarding the history or condition of the vehicle other than what
we can see. We do not perform any
physical or mechanical inspections on the vehicle. No vehicles are test driven so we cannot
vouch for any drivability nor condition of the motor or transmission unless it
is evident when the vehicle is dropped off.
We can only describe what is evident.

visible or known. We are not responsible

$75.00 for vehicle under $1,000 o
$100.00 for vehicles over $1,000 and $50.00 for every $1,000
thereafter ·
Vehicles not paid for in full within three (3) days of end of
auction will be subject to a penalty of $50.00 plus $20.00 PER DAY in storage
fees (storage fees are not negotiable and must be paid prior to release of
vehicle). ·
Vehicles not paid for within one week of end of auction will
result in buyer’s privileges revoked and vehicle to be relisted on ebay.
We accept cash in person, credit card (Visa and MC and Discovery only)
and PayPal (up to $1,000.00) only.
Cashier’s checks may be used for payment but vehicle will not be
released until cashier’s check clears (up to three business days).
All cars are sold in AS IS and WHERE IS condition with all faults
– known and unknown, described or not described. Should there be ANY mechanical issues
discovered after the purchase of the vehicle there will be no recourse offered
by the Seller. The Buyer will be 100%
responsible for any problems discovered after the vehicle leaves the lot. Seller makes NO warranties as to the
condition of any vehicle. Descriptions

5 classic trucks and their polarizing modern revivals

Some revivals of gas-powered classics are getting the EV treatment. But not every revived model looks exactly like its original counterpart. We're in a new era of hulking Detroit metal, and you can thank EVs. Americans can't get enough of their big, beefy trucks and SUVs. But for many years, some of the biggest gas guzzlers fell out of fashion as gas prices rose and emissions regulations tightened. But in the past few years, some of the most iconic American truck nameplates have been brought back to life with electric motors, like the GMC Hummer. In other cases, as with the Ford Bronco, improvements in engine technology and more interest in rugged adventure vehicles made a gas-powered revival possible. Even some revivals that started as gas-powered, like the Chevy Blazer and the Jeep Wagoneer, are now getting electrified spinoffs. (Even if they don't always look quite as sleek as their original inspiration.) Here are side-by-sides of five classic American trucks and their modern counterparts. The Jeep Wagoneer 1975 Jeep Wagoneer and 2024 Electric Jeep Wagoneer SStellantis After a long wait, Jeep released its revival of the classic Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer in 2020. Starting later this year, an electric version of the luxury Jeep SUV will join the Wagoneer lineup. GM recalling 686k Lambda-platform models for hatch repair
Fri, Jul 10 2015General Motors is recalling 686,287 units of its Lambda platform crossovers. On models equipped with a power rear hatch the system can potentially fail. This campaign includes the 2008-2012 Buick Enclave, 2009-2012 Chevrolet Traverse, 2007-2012 GMC Acadia, and 2007-2010 Saturn Outlook. According to GM's documents to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (as a PDF), dirt can get into a portion of the strut that holds up the hatch and cause the part to prematurely fail. There's a redundancy in place called the Prop Rod Recovery system that's designed to shut the liftgate if there's a malfunction. However, if the breakdown happens too quickly after the hatch is opened the prop rod might not work the way it's supposed to. If someone were in the way of the falling liftgate, they could be hurt. For the repair, dealers will update the software for the power liftgate actuator motor control unit to prevent the hatch from closing so quickly. They'll also check the operation of the system afterward. The affected vehicles, equipped with the power liftgate option, have gas struts that hold the power liftgate up when open. These struts may prematurely wear and the open liftgate may suddenly fall. CONSEQUENCE: If the open liftgate unexpectedly falls, it may strike a person, increasing their risk of injury. REMEDY: GM will notify owners, and dealers will update the software for the power liftgate actuator motor control unit so that the motor will prevent the rapid closing of the lift gate, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.
