This is a complete truck with great patina perfect for a rat rod or traditional hot rod. It is waiting for a frame swap or clip to get back on the road. A picture is worth a thousand words so study the pictures carefully. The window regulators and door mechanisms are there and functioning they could use a good greasing to work better. There is rust and lots of it, but this is not a junk truck and it is worth the time to put it back on the road. I am selling it because I have 4 of these and I need the room. I planned on putting in new front floor pans (the seat pan is solid and does not need replacing) and leaving the fenders and cab corners as they were, then shooting it with a flat clear. Included in the sale is another un-cracked rear window and the driver's side window with a crack in it. The engine is still in the truck. I assume it is stuck, but have not checked, I planned on pulling it out anyway. There is no transmission. The truck is a roller and needs to be trailered home. I can assist with loading. I DO NOT have a title for this truck. There was no option on the drop down. This truck will be sold with a bill of sale only. GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics
Mon, 20 Aug 2012After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
