I have owned this truck since 2000 and have since restored the truck with no expense spared. This took me over 10 years to complete. This truck has many custom items installed. Radiator, Rock Valley Custom Gas tank (Mounted under the Bed), Smoothie running Boards, Lecarra Banjo steering wheel W/Flaming river steering column. The Drivetrain is a 4 Speed on the Floor Muncie out of a 69 Camaro. I also custom built the SBC 350. The engine is a rebuilt 350 4 Bolt main W/ solid crank, H-beam Rods with 10:1 Flat top Pistons, Crane cam (roller rockers & Lifters) Cobra Rockers. TPI Fuel injection W/Howard wiring Harness + Performance chip setup for this motor. Headers, Chrome Valve covers. Jegs Electric cooling fan. Rewired W/Painless wiring kit.
Exterior: Is ICE BLUE IMRON 5000 W/Clear coat. The Bed is Red Oak and is a Custom 1 piece removable unit. The Stake sides are Also Red Oak and are detachable as well.
Interior: Dash is Billit Aluminum W/Jegs Artic White gauges. I have installed an electric actuator to the Cowl Vent that is operated with a toggle switch. The interior of the truck has been insulated with sound proofing, heat resistant material I ordered from Eastwood auto body. The Truck is very Quiet when driving down the road. The seats are out of a Ford Ranger 60/40 Bench style. The Interior has new carpet and the side panels/headliner are an aircraft wool Gray/Blue pattern.
The truck is all Steel with the exception of the fenders. I also bought the Grill (New).
The truck will need some front end work. While driving it want's to wonder from side to side. The front end was out of a 69 Chevelle and was already in the truck when I purchased it. I just haven't gotten around to taking it to someone and getting it fixed. No A/C or Heat is installed.
I am selling the truck because I have moved to Okinawa, Japan and can not be there to enjoy it. The truck really gets plenty of attention everywhere I take it. The truck only has about 500 miles on the engine. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will answer them as best I can. This is an as is sell and no emplied warrenty comes with it. The truck is over 70 years old. I am in Okinawa and will return in May if you need to leave it where it is until then is fine with me. The Truck is Secure, covered and Garage kept. I do have someone locally who has a power of attorney and can transfer the title if need be.
I believe the Truck is priced Fairly for what I have in it.

A hybrid and electric Corvette, plus we drive the Ioniq 5 | Autoblog Podcast #728
Fri, May 6 2022In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. Zac drove the electric 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Greg drove the fire-breathing 2022 Maserati Levante Trofeo. The two dive deep into the relatively heavy news week by starting off with a discussion about the upcoming hybrid Corvette before chatting about what the electric Corvette might be like. They have a chat about the possibility of Porsche and Audi officially joining the Formula 1 field. Then, Greg and Zac get into some quick-hitting news to round out the segment by dissecting the updated Kia Soul (now without a turbo), the 30th Anniversary Edition Land Rover Defender and the new CEO at Aston Martin. Following the news and drive reviews, they rope in Senior Editor, Green John Beltz Snyder to give them a quick download of what went down at the first drive for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. Finally, they reach into the mailbag and answer some questions from someone who is less than pleased about infotainment systems in some new cars. And lastly, the gang hears back from someone they helped out in a prior Spend My Money segment on the podcast. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. C7 Corvette makes inaugural ad appearance in Chevy's first spot with new slogan
Mon, 11 Feb 2013Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" tagline has finally been run into the ground, replaced with the Bowtie brand's "Find New Roads" slogan that's part of parent General Motors' plan to unify its everyday brand's marketing efforts worldwide. The new Chevrolet campaign was ushered in on prime time last night during the Grammy Awards on CBS, and the first spot, a 90-second full-line ad, also marks the first appearance of the 2014 Corvette Stingray in a commercial.
Being a full-line ad, the commercial is composed of vignettes centered on different vehicles in the brand's lineup. The all-new 2014 Impala also makes its first commercial appearance in dapper fashion, and time is spent on a skateboarding Sonic and a bouquet of brightly colored Spark hatchbacks driven by fashionable women. The ad starts and ends with Chevy's green halo car, the Volt, along with a young girl with her robotic dog (yes, really).
Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" campaign got off to a rocky start in the fall of 2010, but it did last for a couple of years with some tweaks. This new one, "Find New Roads" seems more intent on drawing new customers into the fold than the outgoing tagline, which seemed to play more toward the brand faithful. It admittedly reminds us more than a little the short-lived "Find Your Own Road" Saab motto (which, we note, was conceived while the Swedish brand was under GM's control), but no matter, we still think it's got more long-term potential than "Runs Deep."
