This Car was built to street race. Built it back in 2001. has a 496BB. TH400 Reverse valve body 4500 stall built by Oceanside Transmission. Engine built by Greg at Total performance in Santee,Ca. Home made headers by Bob Butler in San Diego. 2.25 primary 4in collector. 4in pipe to 4in flowmaster Mufflers. 9inch big bearing rear end with Mark Williams axles 35 spline, 4.33:1 with spool. Ladder bar suspension by Chassis engineering. 4 Wheel disc. Heidit's Rack & pinion front end. Car is tubbed but outside rear wheel wells not cut or stretched. aluminum floor with fully welded chrome moly cage.has master battery shut off, scatter and flex shields, msd 7AL-3, line lock, Trans brake, window net & more. all windows are glass and roll up and down. Has headliner in car too. engine makes 800 @flywheel. 500 shot NOS fogger system never used. car runs 9's easy. Has belt drive, stud girdles, 14:1 comp. full roller valve train.

GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues

Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.

What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
