New chrome oil pan, water pump, fuel pump. Heads professionally done. Lumpy hyd. cam. Holly Dominator intake, Holly spread bore carb. Summit distributer with MSD innerds. Heat painted headers. 3" collecters, 3' turbo mufflers. solid motor mounts and trans mounts Not installed frame connectors. Completely rebuilt stock subframe, new bushings, disk brakes, bearings, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings, idler arm, steering rag arm. New master cylinder. New brake lines, front to back. Hurst line lock. New fuel line, with hidden fuel shut off, from pump to tank. New fuel tank and sending unit with mural painted on tank. Lakewood blowproff bell housing. Lux clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel. Rebuilt aluminum Muncie 4 speed, with Hurst shifter. New u-joints. Stock 355 12 bolt rear. New rear brakes. Lakewood chrome traction bars, with "J" hooks. leaf springs completely rebuilt. 90-10 shocks in front, 60-40 in rear. all grade 8 bolts used on car. Bench seat redone. New door panels, rear side panels. New black rug still in box. rear seat very good. Mechanical SW water and oil pressure, with shut down lights. Auto Meter monster tach with shift light. Dash is rusty and needs a dash pad. needs headliner and package tray. Glass is all good. 5 -14" rally wheels, with caps and rings, 2 15" rally wheels. Solid floors, drivers side has been replaced. trunk has new floor. Body is rusted. I have both new rear quarters, and both rear inner fender panels. I also have the rear taillight panel Still wrapped rechromed front and rear bumpers. Original intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, Muncie shifter, points distributer. Car runs great ,and is fast .I entered in many local car shows and won many trophys. I have the original window sticker, protecto plate, assembly book, and more.. I am the second owner, bought it off my best friend, drove it when it was brand new. I have pictures of the long rebuild. Illness forces sale. No tire kickers or low ballers. I'll just keep in my garage. Weld wheels do not go with car. they belong to my son.

The 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan is for drivers who value performance above all else
Sat, 16 Feb 2013The car you see above is the 2014 Chevrolet SS, and it's important both because it is the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from Chevy in 17 years, and because it will be the nameplate the brand uses on NASCAR tracks all across the country starting this year.
Though it wears a name as American as baseball and apple pie, the machine was actually designed and built in Australia, sharing most of its parts with the brand-new VF-model Holden Commodore. That said, the basic chassis bits are shared with other Chevrolet models like the Camaro and Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle.
While Chevrolet is happy to sell a Malibu or Impala to anyone looking for a mainstream family sedan, but the SS is reserved for buyers interested first and foremost in performance. Most sedans sold these days are front-wheel drive, which is great for everyday driving and when the weather goes bad, but the SS is instead a rear-wheel-drive vehicle aimed at enthusiasts who love to drive and who prefer speed and performance above all else.
Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.
