1969 Chevrolet Nova SS Tribute. This car has a 454 big block that runs great. Polished aluminum intake with a holley double pumper carb. Has a really nice lope to it at idle, I don't know the cam specs, but it's just right for that awesome sound and not to much that it effects how the car drives around town. Transmission is a TH400, with shift kit. Also has a ratchet shifter. Rear end is a 12 bolt limited slip, I don't know the exact gear ratio, but I would guess 3:50 to 3:73 based off of engine rpm's at highway speed. Mechanically this car runs,drives, and stops great. It has a large aluminum radiator to stay cool on hot days. Headers with dual exhaust, racing seats, fuel cell, battery relocated to trunk, subframe connectors, caltrac traction bars. The body shows really well, paint job is very shiny and straight. I don't know if the camera quite captures the color of this car, but it is a pearl metallic green that looks great especially in the sun!!

GM claims it's first to sell million 30+ mpg vehicles
Fri, 04 Jan 2013As we continue to put together all the data for the year-end edition of By The Numbers, General Motors has announced that it sold more than a million vehicles in the US last year that achieved at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway. More impressively, GM managed this feat using multiple strategies including small vehicle size, turbocharged engines and hybrid or plug-in technologies across four brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC) accounting for 13 separate models. This number will grow even more in 2013 thanks to cars like the all-electric Spark, the diesel Cruze, the range-extended Cadillac ELR and the Buick Encore compact CUV.
GM's small car sales were up 39 percent last year helping to attain this million-sales mark for 30-mpg models, and almost 40 percent of all GM sales consisted of cars with fuel-efficient I4 engines. In regards to more advanced means of improving fuel economy, GM says that it plans on having 500,000 vehicles with "some form of electrification" on the road by 2017.

After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
