This is a 1974 Chevy Nova Custom. However everyone knows Alabama does not require a title for this year model and down I do have recent tag receipts and insurance papers and a bill of sale. this car has less than 100 miles on motor and transmission. this car is running around 440 hp. has a seco 350 turbo transmission with shift kit. it is RWD. 3500 stall. 350 bored 40 engine. 300 horse heads With roller rockers. has an edelbrock aluminum intake with a 750 edelbrock carburetor. has headers. cars runs and drives fine. its scary fast. shifts fine. have put a lot of money and time in this vehicle. new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, new fuel pump, new chrome on motor. this car will run and drive anywhere. has good tires and you can crank it up and drive it home. have a lot of extra parts and an extra 1973 nova for parts that goes with this deal. as you will see in pictures, there is damage in the 74 quarters however the parts car has good quarters. the floor pans and trunk pans in the 74 are in good condition. if you come to pick up you will need a trailer for the parts and parts car however the 74 you can drive home. the 74 seats are out to be covered however don't have time but do have the material and goes with vehicle. we do not have pics of the parts car because it is not at home however it will be brought here before end of auction. thanks for looking and happy bidding. highest bidder will most likely own this car.
this car does have power steering. it has manual brakes however the parts cars has everything needed to make it power brakes. ran out of time and money so never got around to doing it. car does need paint and interior done and this will make a beautiful car. have an extra hood and trunk to go with this car. car comes with air however do not have the parts to hook it up.

Kurt Busch to shake and bake (again) in Ricky Bobby car at Talladega
Sat, 19 Oct 2013Kurt Busch will channel Ricky Bobby for another NASCAR race, this time driving a Wonder-sponsored Chevrolet SS, in this weekend's Camping World RV Sales 500 at the Talladega Motor Speedway. Unlike past tie-ins, though, there's actually an element of sponsorship here (the "Me" car was done when Busch was running on a team without sponsorship).
It was arranged by Flower Foods, the new owner of the Wonder brand. Wonder was part of the bankrupt Hostess company, which temporarily exited the US market 2012, and set off the Great Twinkie Shortage.
Busch has made something of a habit of channeling characters from famous racing movies, most recently running Tom Cruise's City Chevrolet livery from Days of Thunder in a Nationwide Series race earlier this year. Busch kicked off his movie-inspired antics, though, at Talladega in 2012, when he raced El Diablo's ("It's like... Spanish for like a fighting chicken") "Me" car complete with a cougar on the hood. He even went so far as to channel the lovable idiot that is Ricky Bobby during the race, dropping a few catchphrases about macchiatos and slingshots.
GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.

Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
