1973 Chevrolet Nova. Low Mile Crate 350, California Car Nearly Rust Free! Must C on 2040-cars
Victorville, California, United States
I am selling my 1973 Chevy Nova, 2 door, 350 V8, 350th auto trans, power steering and disc brakes. It has a clean title in My name and is on non-operational status so there are no past due fees for registration. I've had this car for a long time, and just never got around to fixing it up until now, I have to many other projects and have to let this one go.. It has a 350 Goodwrench crate engine and rebuilt transmission with less than 50,000 miles on them. Dynomax dual exhaust. It runs and drives great, has ALL new gaskets/seals, spark plugs, wires, cap rotor, air/oil filters, many new hoses and belts, new motor mounts and much more I'm sure I'm forgetting. There are no leaks, smoke or funny noises of any kind, it is in excellent mechanical condition. There is almost no rust at all, the floors and trunk are in great condition, the only rust on the whole car is on the lower corners of both front fenders, which is nothing for a 41 year old car. 14x7 Rally wheels and 245/60/14 Bfgoodrich tires (one tire needs replacing beforeit can be driven safely) Doors and trunk open and close smooth and solid. The windshield has a crack, the bumpers could use to be rechromed. It does need interior work and could use a fresh paint job... but it is ready to be a nice clean daily driver as is! Also I will replace the one bad tire and windshield if anyone uses the buy it now option. For more details please call or text 818-919-OI97 Thanks for looking at My post and God bless. Now for the legal stuff.. Everything I said is based on My opinion and that can very greatly from person to person, so please view the pictures and the videos I'll be adding soon and judge for yourself, your bid is a contract so do not bid unless your serious. You are more then welcome to inspect the car before you purchase it or send someone to inspect it for you. The car is sold as-is in need of some repair and there is no warranty or guarantee included with the purchase of this vehicle. By bidding you are agreeing with the terms I've placed in this description. Payment, $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of auction end or upon use of buy it now. The balance is to be paid with cash in person or if that is not possible then I will accept personal or cashiers checks but then I will require a 10-14 day waiting period before I release the vehicle to the buyer (or any transporter that the buyer has contracted to ship the car) to make sure the funds have cleared and are not fraudulent. If you do not agree with this either don't bid or call Me to discuss if I would except any other arrangement. Please don't bid then assume I will change My terms, By bidding you are accepting the terms as stated. Finally the car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early at any time. |

Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
The biggest gas-guzzlers of 2024: 'The Meanest List' is the opposite of greenest cars
Thu, Mar 14 2024In some circles — especially some automotive circles — bigger is better. This explains the Hummer, for example. In its so-called “Meanest List” of a dozen models, the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) makes no apologies for berating “the worst-performing mass market automobiles” sold in 2024 in the U.S. The most diminutive car on the list is a Chevy Corvette Z06. At the top of this particular heap is the Mercedes-Benz AMG G63, a gas-powered SUV that the environmental agency says was “the worst-performing vehicle of the more than 1,200 models assessed by Greener Cars and has an annual fuel cost over $4,000.” Not to mention its MSRP of around $184,000. Rank Make & Model Powertrain Green Score MSRP Estimated Annual Fuel Cost* 1 Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 Gas 20 $184,000 $4,242 2 Ram 1500 TRX 4x4 Gas 22 $98,335 $3,819 3 Ford F150 Raptor R Gas 24 $79,975 $3,777 4 Cadillac Escalade V Gas 26 $152,295 $3,388 5 Dodge Durango SRT Gas 26 $74,995 $3,332 6 Jeep Wrangler 4dr 4X4 Gas 27 $35,895 $3,260 7 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4x4 Gas 28 $91,945 $3,058 8 Mercedes-Benz G550 Gas 28 $143,000 $3,186 9 GMC Hummer EV SUV EV 29 $98,845 $1,746 10 GMC Sierra Gas 29 $37,700 $3,069 11 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Gas 30 $114,395 $3,169 12 Mercedes-Benz Maybach S680 Gas 30 $234,300 $3,031 *ACEEE analysis using EIA data of the annual cost of driving 15,000 miles In terms of numbers, the dirty dozen of the meanest includes seven SUVs and three trucks. Lonely at the middle of the list is the sole electric, the GMC Hummer EV, which weighs in at 9,000 pounds. The council notes that “though EVs have lower emissions than similarly sized gasoline models, the Hummer demonstrates that size and efficiency, not just fuel source, are important factors in a carÂ’s environmental impact.” ItÂ’s also worth reminding prospective buyers that the average fuel cost of a vehicle on the “Greenest List” eats up only a fifth of the fuel cost of a vehicle on the Meanest List, “showing that greener options can also be more affordable.” The ACEEE also put out a "Greener List" of efficient gasoline and hybrid cars that don't require plugging in. By the Numbers Green Cadillac Chevrolet Dodge Ford GMC Hummer Jeep Maybach Mercedes-Benz RAM Emissions Fuel Efficiency Green Automakers Truck SUV Electric Hybrid
Thanks for keeping us on our toes, Detroit Auto Show [w/poll]
Wed, Jan 14 2015Here at Autoblog, we love unexpected debuts at auto shows – and judging by our Detroit Auto Show comments and traffic, you do, too. Surprise reveals have been fewer and farther between in recent years with so many ways for vehicles to be teased or leak out, but this week's show has been a revelation. More to the point, it's been a series of revelations, with automakers from around the globe successfully delivering a brace of concept and production surprises. It's made our jobs a lot more exciting and challenging this week, and even though it's actually more work to react and run-and-gun when the sheet is pulled on a surprise reveal than it is to publish an already-written embargoed story, we've had more fun covering this show for you than any domestic show in memory. We hope you've enjoyed the surprises along with us. To that end, borrowing the words of an unnamed automaker PR flack, we'd like to thank the following automakers for enduring "mountain of antacids" and that "creeping sense of paranoia" necessary to keeping ones' wares totally under wraps until the sheets are pulled off the sheetmetal: Buick Avenir concept Chevrolet Bolt concept Ford GT concept Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Hyundai HCD-15 Santa Cruz concept And while we're at it, we'd like to throw in an shout-out to Detroit's substantially revised and revitalized Cobo Center, and in particular, the redone Michelin media center, which is arguably the single best accommodations for writing show stories that we've encountered on the entire international circuit. Well done, everyone. Thank you, and keep the surprises coming. Auto News Detroit Auto Show Buick Chevrolet Ford Hyundai Volvo 2015 Detroit Auto Show
