Up for bid we have a rust free 71 Chevy Nova painted Almond green which is a Land Rover color and a Rally Nova stripe package (THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL RALLY NOVA) the original color of the car was a lime green color that was stripped to metal and the right front fender had new metal welded in the bottom. The car is laser straight with no waves and the body lines are even all the way around. The interior has new carpet and dash pad, the seats and headliner are perfect. The bottom of the door panel has scuffs from hitting it when getting out over the years and is a little worn. The car has new front & rear bumpers, vinyl top and the tires have less than 500 miles on them. The engine is a stock 350 that runs good and the 2 speed powerglide shifts as it should. Dual exhaust with flow master mufflers. The car goes down the road straight and there is no pulling from the drum brakes, you can take your hands off the wheel and step on the brakes and it stops in a straight line. Chevy 14" rally wheels with SS center caps. Direction lights work brake lights work headlights work. The am radio does not work. I have put about 400 miles on the car in the last three weeks with no issues. Any questions or if you need anymore pictures just ask. I highly recommend an inspection before bidding. New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday
Tue, 11 Dec 2012There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy
Fri, 05 Apr 2013Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.
Chevy Malibu Hybrid wins 2016 Connected Green Car of the Year
