1970 chevy nova car is A REAL 396 SS CAR however the motor was changed by previous owner to a race built 383 stroker motor with world product sportsman 2 heads holly 800cfm carb high rise intake fuller roller set up msd ignition 10gal. fuel cell 2 batteries 12 bolt posi rear (drum brakes).. the car makes alot of power and lays it to the ground very well . very solid car no rot and minimal surface rust on chasis very clean! car came from southern tennesse last year and was bought to be a driver/cruise nite car it turns heads everywhere it goes and wouldnt hesitate to drive it 1000 miles tomorrow. as far as the body goes- the rockers fenders roof floors quarters trunk pan and trunk lid are all 100 percent solid! the quarters have some previous body work from dent repair i know it wasnt rust repair because the quarters are solid everywhere just shotty worksman ship (cant tell from 20ft) the hood is fiberglass and has a rivetted on 3" cowl. car also has fiberglass bumpers front and rear to ake the car lighter. NOW PARTS I DO NOT HAVE: BACK SEAT, INNER FENDERS,AND ORIGIONAL SEATS SO PLEASE DONT ASK. Corvette Stolen In Detroit Returned To Owner After 33 Years
Wed, Jun 25 2014A Detroit man had his stolen Corvette returned 33 years after it disappeared while parked on one of Detroit's main drags, according to ABC 7. The last time George Talley saw his 1979 Corvette was on a July day in 1981, when it disappeared from its parking spot on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. He had given up hope of ever seeing his car again, until a phone call from AAA brought his sporty ride home. Authorities had come across a Corvette with a questionable VIN in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. When they ran the number Talley's stolen car report came up. The car is still in pretty good shape and only has 47,000 miles on the odometer. Talley wasn't sure how he could get the car back home, but General Motors stepped in and agreed to cover the cost of bringing the 'Vette home. Talley has always had a passion for Detroit-made muscle cars. "I've always liked Corvettes. It was attractive. The ladies like 'em," Talley told ABC 7.
Motor Trend reveals 2016 Chevy Camaro as Car of the Year
Tue, Nov 17 2015The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro beat some very steep competition to earn the Golden Calipers as Motor Trend's Car of the Year. The magazine praised the sixth generation's fantastic engines, great handling, and lighter platform. "Our 2016 Car of the Year, the Chevrolet Camaro, is one of the finest driving vehicles in the world at any price," editor-in-chief Edward Loh said, "though its price is well within reach of the average consumer." The Camaro conquered some high-performance challengers to take the victory, including the Audi TT, Mazda MX-5 Miata, and Mercedes AMG GT S. It also bested technologically cutting-edge vehicles like the BMW 7 Series and Toyota Mirai. The latest Honda Civic rounded out the competition. To earn the prestigious award, nine judges evaluated the finalists in six categories: advancement in design, engineering excellence, safety, efficiency, value, and performance of intended function. The Volkswagen Golf won last year. In an engaging story on Motor Trend's website, it explains what a revelation the new coupe is and that they consider the model the best production pony car ever.
