You are bidding on the screen used Nova from Quentin Tarantino`s DEATH PROOF (2006). This is not one of the stunt Novas used during stunt and crash scenes but THE car that was used in all the close up and dialogue scenes with the actors. There were 7 Novas originally, only 2 of them survived the filming. One stunt Nova that was gifted to stunt driver Buddy J. Hooker after the production wrapped and this one that was kept by the production company and later sold to a private collector.

Nova includes: TH350 Transmission, original 350cui Engine, 650 Edelbrock carburetor, Hooker headers, Moroso valve covers, MrGasket fuel regulator, B&M shifter, quick disconnect steering wheel, positrack rear end, slapper bars, JAZ 12 gal fuel cell with roll over valves, ralley wheels, Simpson racing seat, Auto Meter gauges, full functional roll cage and many more race/stunt features. There is a hole from the engine bay through the dash where they pumped A/C into the car while shooting. It also still has the production used towing rig etc. for towing/shooting. All parts were intentionally aged and rusted by the production then clear coated for sealing.

This Nova is in strong running condition (comes with european style battery and would need to be changed soon) and comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity from TROUBLE MAKER STUDIOS signed by production designer Steven Joyner and head prop fabricator Jeff Poss, who built this car for the production of DEATH PROOF. The car is still in the private collection in Europe and will be shipped to your country with no shipping charges.

GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.

2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala

Fri, 31 May 2013

The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.

GM recalls trucks and SUVs for brake pedal problem

Thu, Feb 11 2016

The Basics: General Motors will recall over 473,000 North American examples of the 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado HD, GMC Sierra HD, and police pursuit versions of the Chevy Tahoe. These include 426,573 vehicles in the US and 46,837 in Canada, according to Reuters. The Problem: The brake pivot nut can loosen over time, which can render the pedal inoperative. This would be a danger to drivers trying to stop the vehicles. In some cases, the "Service Engine Soon" light might come on. Injuries/Deaths: None reported. The Fix: Dealers will inspect the pivot bolt, and if necessary they will apply adhesive to it and reinstall the part with increased torque. If You Own One: "We expect to start customer notifications shortly," GM spokesperson Tom Wilkinson told Autoblog. If the brake pedal becomes loose or inoperative, it could interfere with the accelerator pedal, and/or the driver may be unable to safely stop the vehicle through application of the brake pedal, potentially affecting stopping distances and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the pivot bolt installation to determine whether the vehicle has already received the production remedy. If not, the dealer will add adhesive to the nut, and reinstall the nut at an increased torque. Note: This condition may result in the "Service Engine Soon" light illuminating, and brake lights may stay on longer than expected.
