The last time it was on the road was 2008. I pulled the motor and trans with plans for a bbc but lost interest. The car needs needs new paint, some bodywork, motor, and trans. Clean and clear title in hand and ready for a new home. The vinyl roof is in good condition. The dash pad and headliner are in very good condition. The seats, carpet, and door panels are good but show minor wear. The car has drum brakes all the way around and a B&M ratchet shifter. The car also comes with extra dash trim, 2500 stall converter, drive shaft, and transmission support. A $500.00 dollar non-refundable Paypal payment is required 24hrs after auction. 2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.
Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.
Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
