1967 Nova Ss 118 on 2040-cars

Year:1967 Mileage:10000 Color: trim
Location:

Tempe, Arizona, United States

Tempe, Arizona, United States

This is a 1967 nova ss 118 4 speed car. From what I undertsand from the previous owner it was a 327 car, previous owner knew who drove it to high school. I measured the fuel line and is 3/8 all the way back to the tank, still have the original 3/8 fuel feed line to front clip . 90% rust free car, original bucket seats, rear seat, console, hood, fenders I have pretty much all the trim including the extremely hard to find deck lid panel ss trim which I would rate a 8 or 9 with very slight pitting and no broken studs. I also have all the lower ss body trim (only 8 pieces shown but have other 2 on their way ALL ORIGINAL!) Have the bumpers front valance that is in good shape and even the original grille which is in awesome shape too! The console will need to be restored but is an original piece as well. Have Z-bar and linkage, cross-member, drive shaft. The rear end is the original rear end with a BE code making it a 10 bolt 3.08 posi, took rear cover off and everything looks ok and in fact still is the 3.08 gears. Have a correct radiator and the support, original wiring still intact, all the glass and rear glass trim (not pictured in great shape) and a ton of misc parts to make it a very VERY complete car. Off the top of my head the only things that are missing are (engine, trans, front bumper braces, and mud buckets. It sooo hard to get pictures of everything I have. Floor/outer firewall has been rubberized coated and there has been a new passenger side quarter wheelhouse and trunk drop down installed and body work started. THIS CAR IS EVERY NOVA GUYS DREAM!!!!

A far as the interior and exterior trim, I think I have most if not all of it, only trim I know I'm missing is the 1/4 "c" and the wheelwheel opening trim. Have the inner drip rails and all of the interior trim I believe just not pictured.

No picture of the hood because currently in bodywork/prime
No picture of trunk because of all the misc part in it

Original color is maderia maroon with black buckets (no vinyl roof) RARE COLOR!!!!
Clean title
118=ss
780=black buckets
E=tinted glass (all)
2L=4speed
N-N=Maderia maroon

The work this car will need to have the driver side quarter, outer wheelhouse, and trunk drop down. Also needs rear trunk gutter, and POSSIBLY trunk pan (just the center). Package tray may need some attention Other than that there is no rust that I know of.

I know that I'm probably forgetting something about this car if you have any question please ask away!!!

DEPOSIT IS DUE IN 48HRS.......BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING

Car is listed locally and have the right to end auction early to local sale!!!!!!!!!!

Detroit 3 to implement delayed unified towing standards for 2015

Tue, Feb 11 2014

Car buyers have a responsibility to be well-informed consumers. That's not always a very simple task, but some guidelines are self-evident. If you live in a very snowy climate, you generally know a Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Camaro might not be as viable a vehicle choice as an all-wheel drive Explorer or Traverse, for example. If you want a fuel-efficient car, it's generally a good idea to know the difference between a diesel and a hybrid. But what if it's kind of tough to be an informed consumer? What if the information you need is more difficult to come by, or worse, based on different standards for each vehicle? Well, in that case, you might be a truck shopper. For years, customers of light-duty pickups have had to suffer through different ratings of towing capacities for each brand. For 2015 model year trucks, though, that will no longer be a problem. According to Automotive News, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler Group have announced that starting with next year's models, a common standard will be used to measure towing capacity. The Detroit Three will join Toyota, which adopted the Society of Automotive Engineers' so-called SAE J2807 standards way back in 2011. The standard was originally supposed to be in place for MY2013, but concerns that it would lower the overall stated capacity for trucks led Detroit automakers to pass. Ford originally passed, claiming it'd wait until its new F-150 was launched to adopt the new standards, leading GM and Ram to follow suit. Nissan, meanwhile, has said it will adopt the new standards as its vehicles are updated, meaning the company's next-generation Titan should adhere to the same tow ratings as its competitors. While the adoption of SAE J2807 will be helpful for light-duty customers, those interested in bigger trucks will still be left with differing standards. There is no sign of the new tow standards being adopted for the heavy-duty market.

Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.

Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles

Mon, May 13 2024

It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.
