For sale is my 1967 chevy nova hardtop coupe. I've owned the car since 2005, and has been a project on hold for a while now and can't seem to find the funds to finish it, so I'm putting it for sale so someone else can get a chance to have a very beautiful car.Everything on the car is either new or rebuilt, and only needs the interior to make it complete. This car is super clean and I've put alot more time and money into it than I'm asking .It's currently insured through Hagerty classic car insurance for $30,000 as a project vehicle...would be much more if complete! All parts are top of the line
Engine: rebuilt sbc 350 with 4 bolt mains with mild cam,Holley Avenger 650 double pumper and runs very strong. Has Flowmaster dual exhaust and Sanderson headers. BeCool aluminum radiator.Transmision: T350 and shifts smooth.Color: Porsche Guard's Red with gold ghost flames from front to mid doors. Paint is approximately 5 years old and still looks excellent;it has very few minor chips here and there but hardly noticeable. Body is straight as an arrow 100% rust free and all original GM panels.Suspension: front mini sub frame from CPP, new tubular control arms, four wheel power disc brakes, new brake lines, new front swaybar, Unisteer rack & pinion steering, all new Edelbrock shocks, new front and rear bushings, new subframe connectors. Wheels: 17" Rocket Racing wheels with 215/45 BF Goodrich tires in front and 225/45 in the rear. Tires are almost brand new with maybe 100 miles. Interior: Custom gauge panel with new Autometer gauges, chrome IDIDIT tilt column, custom center console from front to rear dash, Dynamat and Dynaliner throughout, bucket seats, Billet Specialties steering wheel, door handles, window cranks, and pedal covers, custom brushed stainless stereo mounting plate. Trim: bumpers are GM original with new chrome, stainless and aluminum trim is polished GM original except for front windshield trim, all glass is original except for front windshield, all new weatherstripping, seals and rubber.
Cons:All this car needs is to finish the interior, and it could well be a show car. My plan was to have custom bucket seats in the rear with the dividing console. It has a minor oil leak , possibly the rear main seal, minor chips in the paint like on door edges and minor paint cracking in front windshield corners to A pillar ,but not too noticeable.Speedometer acts up, i think it's the sender. Other than this, the car is super clean and solid!

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
Chevrolet SS previewed by Holden VF Commodore SS V show car
Thu, 14 Feb 2013It won't be long before we see the official, production-ready Chevrolet SS sedan (hint: it will be revealed this weekend). And to tide us over until all of the official details are released about the US-spec version, we have this: the Holden VF Commodore SS V show car, a performance-oriented brother to the Calais V that debuted earlier in the week.
What we really want to know about the SS V is what lies underhood, but General Motors' Australian arm is keeping that under wraps until the Chevy model breaks cover this weekend. Nevertheless, it's obvious that the SS V will be a serious performer, with all sorts of aggressive cues driving that home on the car's exterior. Take a look at those 20-inch billet aluminum wheels that hide big Brembo brake calipers up front, the sculpted hood and front fascia, the wide air intakes with LED running lights and the quad exhaust pipes out back. It's like the Pontiac G8 GXP never even left us.
Inside, there's a sporty-looking interior with aluminum accents that mix in with black leather and suede surfaces, all tied together in the middle with an eight-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system. It looks great, and again, while we don't know anything regarding powertrain details, it makes us oh-so happy to see a manual shifter smack dab in the middle of the center console.
