THE FLOORS ARE MINT!!! NO BONDO ANYWERE!!! RESTORED !!! THE NOVA HAD ONE REPAINT A FEW YEARS BEFORE I GOT IT. I REPLACED THE TIRES. ( THE TIRES IN THE PIC ARE NOT ON THE CAR NOW. I REPLACED WITH NEW ONES. ) ALSO NEW BATTERY,SHOCKS, FUEL PUMP, AND STARTER. RUNS GREAT. ALL LIGHTS AND HEATER AND WIPERS AND BRAKES AND RAIDO WORK. NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR. I WOULD CALL THIS AN ORIGINAL WITH NEWER PAINT. JUST LOOK AT THE FLOORS. NO UNDERCOATING TO COVER UP RUST. NO RUST ON THIS CAR. THIS CAR IS LIKE A STEP BACK INTO 1963. ALL THE RUBBER WAS REPLACED WHEN PAINTED. PLUS ALL THE PAINT MATCHES. NO DIFFERENT SHADE FOR THE DOOR JAMS. ALL THE GLASS IS GREAT. ONLY SELLING BECAUSE I WANT TO GET SOMETHING ELSE. GM will recall more than 3.3 million vehicles in China for suspension defect
Sat, Sep 29 2018BEIJING (Reuters) - General Motors' joint venture in China, Shanghai GM, will recall more than 3.3 million Buick, Chevrolet and Cadillac vehicles stating Oct. 20 because of a defect with the suspension system, China's market regulator said on Saturday. GM Shanghai said in a text message to Reuters that the suspension arm may be deformed under extreme operating conditions, but there are no known casualties related to the issue. The recall includes cars produced between 2013 and 2018, the State Administration for Market Regulation said in a statement. GM will contact those affected and repair the vehicles free of charge, it said. Chevrolet planning low-cost Corvette under Stingray?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013If you're burnt out on musings about the Chevrolet Corvette, you'll want to go ahead and skip this post. Motor Trend reports General Motors is hard at work on a low-cost version of the seventh-generation sports car for 2015. Rumored to be called the Corvette Coupe, the car will forgo the Stingray and skip the 450-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine in favor of a 5.3-liter V8 with under 400 ponies. If you're keeping track, that's a shade of the same engine found behind the headlights of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The report also suggests the Coupe will receive a number of aesthetic tweaks to separate it from the Stingray, including different front and rear fascias as well as new front fenders and a rear diffuser. Motor Trend says the point of all this is to cut the car's price tag, which means we may see a Corvette on showroom floors for less than $50,000 if this car comes to fruition.
