I have a 1962 Chevy Nova Wagon for sale in which I have for more than 20 years it is in Very Good Condition with a lot of extra parts I have collected over the years including everything to convert over to 5 lug wheels with disc brake conversion and later model nova 10 bolt rear end with 3:08 gears which is all bolt in. I have all 4 doors and tailgate which are in very good condition.

The rust that I spotted was the front floor pans which I will include new ones with the car, And passenger side door and tailgate also included but also could be repaired and a small spot on the drip edge in the rear and rear corner just below weather stripping. I will take pictures of the rust so you can see I know this is the most important part in purchasing and old car like this.
I just have to many projects and not enough life times. I will help the best I can if you want the car transported. Everything is original except for Offenhauser intake Holley 390 cfm 4 barrel carb. which needs rebuilt or replaced because it sat in a warehouse for about 8 years and I had to replace the tires battery points plugs fluids fuel tank etc. I should have replaced the sending
unit for fuel tank because it leaks when completely filled. Also the 14" American Outlaws of coarse are not original. The Motor and Transmission were rebuilt in 1993 also the exterior was repainted with Sikken Base Coat Clear Coat the same year. The is in very good shape also with only the passenger front fender having the most notable dent and the drivers side bezel having dent
also all which could easily be fixed. The interior is missing the carpet but is all original including the plastic seat covers push button AM tube radio AC and 2 speed wiper motor with washer AC dose not work because from sitting so long thats another reason it needs a new home. Would be and easy restoration or resto mod. The Car originally came from South Carolina Georgia border And I have a lot of receipts dating back to the 60's including Chevrolet Owner Protection Plan and Owners Guide Plus Original Repair Manual. I was told I am the third owner. Not sure what the real milage is because the odometer stop working. I have only put around 20 to 30 thousand miles since complete rebuild. And the Hood is NOS also.Plus the Rocker Panels and Trim are in Great condition and the Fenders and Quarters even spare tire well is rust free, what small amount of rust there is should be easy to fix. I replaced the old weather stripping with SOFF SEAL brand and most the bolts in the engine compartment with stainless steel bolts. And I fabricated aluminum brackets to mount the 1 1/4" Draw-Tite hitch without any welding so it looks factory. I used to pull my 1962 13' Boston Whaler with it.                          Please feel free to e-mail any questions and thanks for your time, Steve

Bring back the Bronco! Trademarks we hope are actually (someday) future car names

Tue, Mar 17 2015

Trademark filings are the tea leaves of the auto industry. Read them carefully – and interpret them correctly – and you might be previewing an automaker's future product plans. Yes, they're routinely filed to maintain the rights to an iconic name. And sometimes they're only for toys and clothing. But not always. Sometimes, the truth is right in front of us. The trademark is required because a company actually wants to use the name on a new car. With that in mind, here's a list of intriguing trademark filings we want to see go from paperwork to production reality. Trademark: Bronco Company: Ford Previous Use: The Bronco was a long-running SUV that lived from 1966-1996. It's one of America's original SUVs and was responsible for the increased popularity of the segment. Still, it's best known as O.J. Simpson's would-be getaway car. We think: The Bronco was an icon. Everyone seems to want a Wrangler-fighter – Ford used to have a good one. Enough time has passed that the O.J. police chase isn't the immediate image conjured by the Bronco anymore. Even if we're doing a wish list in no particular order, the Bronco still finds its way to the top. For now (unfortunately), it's just federal paperwork. Rumors on this one can get especially heated. The official word from a Ford spokesman is: "Companies renew trademark filings to maintain ownership and control of the mark, even if it is not currently used. Ford values the iconic Bronco name and history." Trademarks: Aviator, AV8R Company: Ford Previous Use: The Aviator was one of the shortest-run Lincolns ever, lasting for the 2003-2005 model years. It never found the sales success of the Ford Explorer, with which it shared a platform. We Think: The Aviator name no longer fits with Lincoln's naming nomenclature. Too bad, it's better than any other name Lincoln currently uses, save for its former big brother, the Navigator. Perhaps we're barking up the wrong tree, though. Ford has made several customized, aviation themed-Mustangs in the past, including one called the Mustang AV8R in 2008, which had cues from the US Air Force's F-22 Raptor fighter jet. It sold for $500,000 at auction, and the glass roof – which is reminiscent of a fighter jet cockpit – helped Ford popularize the feature. Trademark: EcoBeast Company: Ford Previous Use: None by major carmakers.

Stolen '57 Chevy Returned To Owner After 30 Years

Fri, Feb 21 2014

Three decades after it was stolen, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has been returned to a Northern California man - in better shape than when he originally owned it. The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports Ian "Skip" Wilson was shocked to get a call from the California Highway Patrol informing him that his long-lost Chevy was taken off an Australia-bound cargo ship. The 65-year-old says the car has had a lot of work done on it since it disappeared from his Lake County home in 1984. It was returned with a monogrammed interior, 17-inch racing wheels, rack-and-pinion steering and a 350-horsepower V-8 engine. The retired mechanic says the two-door was in sorry shape when he bought it for $375 in 1975 with plans for fixing it up.
