Here we have a genuine, low mile one family owned survivor. I think you would call this Dresden Blue with a blue cloth interior ( that has sunfade and the dash and steering wheel have cracking ), the body has some very minor surface rust -- look at the detail photo of the wheel well -- that was all I could see, while under the hood, anything that wasn't factory painted now has a rust skin on it. The cassette AM/FM stereo was added about 10 years ago along with the 150 watt Alpine amp.The whole car was repainted to factory original color. A new replacement vinyl top was installed, and again to the original color match.

The battery is newer, the exhaust was also renewed and the brakelines also were replaced.

Miles are actual -- the 56,710 is real. I drove the car around a bit and spotted it under the tree for photos -- tried the A/C and radio and the radio plays and sound good, but the A/C will need recharged and/or repaired as it just blows warm air.

Now, please note that this car has a Clear Ohio title...but it has some history too.

IT WAS STOLEN.

THE THIEVES BROKE THE WINDSHIELD AND DAMAGED THE VIN PLATE ( it's not there anymore )

THE CAR WAS RECOVERED

THE VIN WAS CLEARED AND RE-ISSUED BY THE STATE -- it is now tagged on the B pillar...see photo.

It will need tires as there is only 25 to 30 % tread left.

They are off brand P 195 75 R 14 92S M&S

231 V6 Auto

Drivers door needs ( just like all GM cars of this era ) a new set of pin bushings as it sags. My 80 did the same thing and it was a quick $9 fix to change out the plastic sleeves.

OK. NOW THE OFFICIAL STUFF.

I list all autos and parts "AS IS" used condition with no guarantees, wuarantees or promises. It is a used car and is not perfect and definetely NOT A MUSEUM PIECE.

I am only the listing agent and I will require a $500 paypal deposit within 48 hours after auction end and vehicle muse be paid in full within 7 days of sale end. ONCE THE VEHICLE IS PAID IN FULL AND REGISTRATION HAS CHANGED OVER to the new owner, the vehicle may then be removed from the property and its legally yours to enjoy, race, modify or do what you want to it. Convert her to a V8, a roundy round or derby pace car.

You are invited to see the car and try it on for size before the auction is over -- or just email questions and I/we will try and answer all questions.

This is the only thing Monte I have to list, so please don't ask.

2016 Chevy Volt to make auto show debut this season

Wed, Jul 30 2014

Ever since we saw that spy shots of the 2016 Chevy Volt, we've been hungering for more information on the next-gen version of GM's green halo car. It appears we might not have long to wait, at least for an official tease. An inside source that wishes to remain anonymous told AutoblogGreen that GM will make two announcements regarding the second-gen Volt at the CAR Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, MI next week. The first, and most intriguing, is that that we will get our first glimpse of the new Volt at some point during the upcoming auto show season. That means either Los Angeles later this year or else Detroit, Chicago or New York in early 2015. The second bit of news is that GM will be moving production of the electric motors from Mexico to Michigan. Details and official confirmation are, of course, missing and Chevrolet declined comment to AutoblogGreen. We should know more next week.

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat vs. Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in latest Head 2 Head

Fri, Jan 30 2015

"Olympian" is one of the terms we use to signify the greatest height, the seat of the gods. Yet Mt. Olympus is the second-highest peak in the Balkans ranges, overshadowed by the crest at Musala in Bulgaria's Rila mountains. Both great heights, but one is a little higher. That's how we get the Olympian Chevy Camaro ZL1 pitched at the Musalic Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in Motor Trend's latest episode of Head 2 Head. The side-by-side spec sheet is filled with farcical numbers. For the ZL1, that's a 6.2-liter V8 with 580 horsepower, 556 pound-feet of torque, a 4,051-pound curb weight, 0-to-60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds, a quarter-mile time of 12.2 seconds and a base price of just $57,800. Opposing that, the Hellcat wrings out its 6.2-liter V8 for 707 hp, 650 lb-ft of torque, weighs 4,449 pounds, does the quarter in 11.7 seconds and has a base price of just $60,990. Except in the case of the Hellcat, when Motor Trend put it on the dyno the machine spit out a reading of 672 hp and 606 lb-ft at the wheels. If there's a 10-percent driveline loss through those beefed-up internals and heavy-duty eight-speed transmission, that means the Hellcat is actually rated at about 750 horsepower and 700 lb-ft. But once they get put on a closed-off strip of coast road in Northern California, there are only a few strands of hair between their respective performances. That's not the case for they sensations provide; host Jonny Lieberman calls one of them, "One of the most incredible cars ever made," and says, "It changes everything." Watch the video above to see who got the verdict and how. Related Video:

First-edition Detroit muscle raises millions for charity at Barrett-Jackson

Mon, Jan 19 2015

Amidst all the classic metal crossing the auction block each year in Scottsdale, AZ, Detroit automakers have a tradition of donating the first examples of their most enticing new muscle cars, with the proceeds of their sales going towards worthwhile charities. This year, Barrett-Jackson handled three noteworthy examples. The highest price among them was the first Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang with the VIN #001, which raised $1 million for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. General Motors donated the first new Chevy Corvette Z06 Convertible, the first retail example of the droptop supercar garnering $800,000 for the United Way. Along with the Z06, GM also donated the first new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan, which brought in $170,000 for Detroit's College for Creative Studies. Although these were the headline Motown muscle machines furnished by the automakers themselves, they weren't the only vehicles auctioned off for worthy causes. A 1950 GM Futurliner bus donated by collector Ron Pratte led the charge when it brought in $4.65 million for the Armed Forces Foundation. Other lots included a custom Jeep Wrangler donated by SEMA ($85k), a new M5 donated by BMW ($800k), a '79 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst ($140k), '39 Cadillac LaSalle C-Hawk ($410k), Jeff Gordon's 1999 NASCAR-spec Chevy Monte Carlo ($500k) and a Victory Cross Country 8-Ball motorcycle ($180k). All told, the charity lots raised over $8.7 million for local and national charities.
