This 2001Chevy Monte Carlo Ls / SS clone is up for Auction . has a rag top that is in great conditon, ground effects kit, 6 disc cd changer led tail lights , has fog light but just needs the wiring done to get them to work, the rims that are on the car are not factory i do have the rims that came with the car they are also in good condtion they will also come with the car but the tires are worn . Engine sounds good no knocking .. Runs smooth .. Brand new battery bought 10/10/13 with 3year warranty front and back seats are in good conditon
Hazard /turn signal switch not working, 1 and 2 Blower speeds not working, ac not working, gas gauge not working correct, trunk key lock missing, rear def not working.
I am selling this car because i did not want to put any money into to get fixed so i just ended up buying a new car . the car is a little slow in shifting . i have not had the trans fluid changed this very well could correct the problem .
if everything in this car was working correct i would be starting this bid at $5,000 .. but since i didnt fix any of these things its much lower.
I am the only owner of this car. this car has been garage kept . no one has ever smoked in this car . I really hate to give this car up . but i jut dont need it anymore , it just sits in the garage .

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
Top Gear names BMW i8 Car of the Year, Corvette, Ferrari, Mercedes also win big
Fri, Dec 5 2014The lads at Top Gear have released their listing of the finest cars of the past year, handing the ultimate honor to BMW's revolutionary i8 plug-in-hybrid supercar. "The i8 is a milestone in the annals of automotive history and a glorious statement for an exciting and positive future. The i8 delivers - and then some," the British mag wrote. The i8, though, was far from the only hybridized car to take victories. James May and Richard Hammond both highlighted hybrids as their personal cars of the year, with May saluting the Ferrari LaFerrari and the Hamster, unsurprisingly, heaping praise on the Porsche 918 Spyder. Jeremy Clarkson, meanwhile, opted to shock many by selecting not only an American car as his best of 2014, but giving the honor to of all things, a Corvette. Clarkson wasn't the only person to honor the USA's iconic sports car, with the new, 650-horsepower Z06 variant being named TG's Muscle Car of the Year. Other big winners include Mercedes-Benz, which TG honored for S-Class Coupe (Luxury Car of the Year), the new AMG GT (Sports Car of the Year) and the not-for-US C-Class Estate (Family Car of the Year). Former Fisker CEO has some advice for Tesla Motors
Wed, Oct 22 2014Former Fisker Automotive CEO and ex-Chevrolet Volt vehicle-line director Tony Posawatz has some words of caution for Tesla Motors. The long-time automaker executive questions the California automaker's long-term viability – and gives some praise – in a talk with Benzinga, which you can listen to below. While the all-wheel-drive D that Tesla unveiled earlier this month in Southern California wowed a packed crowd, Posawatz (starting at around minute 4:45 in the interview) says Tesla would've been better off taking the resources it expended toward that Model S upgrade and directed them towards speeding up the development of a more affordable plug-in. Perhaps a number of investors agreed, since the company's stock fell the day after the D was announced. Posawatz says Tesla has been over-reliant on the sale of ZEV credits. Posawatz also says that Tesla has been over-reliant on the sale of zero-emissions vehicle credits in California for its earnings and questions whether the automaker will ever work at a large enough scale to sufficiently drive down costs and make consistent profits. Tesla CEO Elon Musk would take issue with this characterization. Posawatz first made his mark in the plug-in vehicle world when he was the vehicle-line director at General Motors for the Volt extended-range plug-in from 2006 to 2012. Later that year, he joined extended-range plug-in maker Fisker Automotive as its CEO, though quit that job during the summer of 2013 as the company was descending into insolvency.
