This beautiful white Monte Carlo drives as great as it looks. The inside could seat five adults and there is plenty of room for luggage or groceries if used as a daily driver.
Fender flares help keep the visual lines flowing as Chevy marketed this auto as a Luxury model . This is why you will not see this model with a standard transmission.
This car is amazing. The chrome and bright work are in very good condition.
Dual exhaust blows out the rear, but the sound is still low key and pleasant.
All four tires are like new with less than 500 miles on them.
The car was ordered with rear fender skirts.
Purchased at Don Allen Chevrolet in Pittsburgh, PA, the Monte Carlo has had only 2 owners. Our seller has the window sticker, owners manual and protecto plate.
This car is truly a survivor. Other than a paint job and new tires and a few new items, the car is original. The mileage is believed to be actual, and the car shows very little wear inside.
Aftermarket gauges were added just to monitor engine vitals.
There is a tiny bit of surface rust under the doors, but it is a 40 year old car.
The engine compartment is in very good condition. Some belts and hoses have been replaced, but all in all it's original.

Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof. We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
The Malaise Era for cars in the United States spanned the 1973 through 1983 model years, and featured such abominations as a Corvette with just 205 horsepower (from the optional engine!) and MGBs with suspensions jacked way up to meet new headlight-height requirements. There were many low points throughout this gloomy period, of course. The horrifyingly low power and fuel-economy numbers for big V8s during the middle years of the Malaise Era make a strong case for 1974 or 1975— the years of Nixon's resignation and the Fall of Saigon, respectively— as the most Malaisey years. UPDATE: A previous version of this story indicated that Orion Assembly would be idled for seven weeks, from February 16 through April 6. This was incorrect. The factory will instead only be idled for the weeks of February 16 and April 6. The story has been edited to reflect this. General Motors has announced that the factory responsible for the Buick Verano and Chevrolet Sonic will be idled for the weeks of February 16 and April 6, with blame being placed on excess supply. The Orion Assembly plant, about 45 minutes north of GM's Renaissance Center headquarters, employs about 1,800 people, but they'll be given a pair of furloughs as inventories of the sub-compact Sonic and premium compact Verano reach 127 days and 84 days, respectively. That works out to 26,600 Chevys and 9,800 Buicks waiting for buyers. According to Automotive News, the compact Chevy sales bested the industry average in 2014, jumping up nine percent versus the the overall segment's eight-percent gain, while the Buick sedan's sales were down four percent. When asked about the shutdown, a GM spokesman told AN that it will "build to market demand," while also pointing out that the company did not comment on production plans.
