This is a "rock solid" car that has NO rust or corrosion of any type! This is a tilt steering car and has factory AC, but we have never had the system charged.
I have owned this car for 8 years and we have done several things during that time: Front end was completely re-built w/ new tie rods, idler arm, poly urethane bushings, etc. A rebuilt steering gear (original ratio), new front and rear springs, new front and rear KYB shocks, new Firestone tires, new seat covers, new headliner, new starter solenoid, new master cylinder, new dual Hooker aerochamber exhaust, new heater core, new firewall insulation and a brand new battery.
The car was re-painted before I purchased, but paint still looks great... gets a lot of attention and positive feedback at the different shows that we have entered.
The car looks and drives great!! As I mentioned, there is no rust on this car, I included pictures of the rear gutter where Monte's are most vulnerable and this car is like new. I have had the seats out and the floor is absolutely like new, no corrosion or soft spots. Absolutely rock solid!
I purchased this car for my son and we had a great time working on this together. I am sorry to see it go, but do not have the space to keep it any longer.
A really nice car and I have put a very reasonable reserve in place.
I require a $500 deposit w/in 48 hours from the winning bidder.
Car is located in Columbus, Ohio area. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
I have not bought or sold much through e-bay, but have 100% positive feedback.

Corvette Z06 and Viper TA square off at the strip
Wed, Jan 21 2015There are many long-standing grudge matches among automobiles: 911 vs GT-R, Mustang vs Camaro, Ferrari vs Lamborghini... but as far as high-end American metal goes, it doesn't get much more legendary than Viper vs 'Vette. So after Chevy released the new Corvette Z06, we knew it was only a matter of time before it would have to square off against the Viper TA. And what better place to pit these two parallel pillars of American performance than on the drag strip? Fortunately that's just what we have here. In one corner, the 2014 Dodge Viper TA, with its 8.4-liter V10 pumping out 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. In the other, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, the supercharger on its 6.2-liter V8 more than making up for the discrepancy in displacement and cylinder count to produce 650 hp and just as much torque. But numbers don't tell the whole story, so watch the video clip to see which reaches the end of the quarter-mile first. Stolen '57 Chevy Returned To Owner After 30 Years
Fri, Feb 21 2014Three decades after it was stolen, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has been returned to a Northern California man - in better shape than when he originally owned it. The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports Ian "Skip" Wilson was shocked to get a call from the California Highway Patrol informing him that his long-lost Chevy was taken off an Australia-bound cargo ship. The 65-year-old says the car has had a lot of work done on it since it disappeared from his Lake County home in 1984. It was returned with a monogrammed interior, 17-inch racing wheels, rack-and-pinion steering and a 350-horsepower V-8 engine. The retired mechanic says the two-door was in sorry shape when he bought it for $375 in 1975 with plans for fixing it up. GM takes heat for aborted Silverado riff on 'Boston Strong' at World Series
Thu, 31 Oct 2013During game five of the World Series, Chevrolet was set to do a spot of marketing for the 2014 Silverado - fans at Busch Stadium in St. Louis would hold up placards that spelled out the words "Silverado Strong," a theme that Chevy has been promoting since the Silverado's launch with the song "Strong," by Will Hoge. The St. Louis promo was ultimately called off, though, over concerns that it'd be insensitive to the visiting Boston Red Sox. (You can see the image of what the stunt would have looked like above, courtesy of one timely Reddit user.)
Now, the Busch Stadium stunt might not have been a big deal, had the St. Louis Cardinals not been playing the Boston Red Sox. Following the tragic events in Boston during the marathon back in April, the phrase "Boston Strong" gained traction among the city's citizens, especially at sporting events. So, you can imagine that Chevy's appropriation of the phrase might not sit well with some fans.
The stunt was ultimately shelved after images of the signs went viral before the game, leading to a bit of a public backlash. Chevy spokesperson Michael Albano said of the promo that it was meant to show the brand's "commitment to baseball and its fans." But after the images went viral, the company "realized there was the possibility that we may offend some of the very fans we were trying to honor," Albano told Automotive News via email.
