Up for sale is my original 1970 Monte Carlo. Car runs solid. Black on Black. I believe the original paint color was Gold. A/C has been converted and blows air, but may need charged. Odometer reads 46,000. Can't confirm that, could be 146,000. I bought the car @ 7 years ago and have only put @ 5,000 miles on myself. Comes with the American racing wheels that are presently on the car. Original AM/FM radio. Two rectangular rear speaker grills which I understand are difficult pieces to find. Also includes a set of original Rally Wheels with practically Brand New Tread. Rally wheels, center caps and rings are in very good condition, not show but very nice. Paint shines up very nice, with some minor imperfections. One small spot at rear right wheel well is starting to bubble. See pics. Interior is in excellent shape. Bench seat column shift. Also have extra parts, including complete uncut Dash and dash pad, two wood grain inserts. Various mold trims. Chrome bumpers are in excellent condition. Grill emblem on car is original with the roman numerals on the crown, not the after market junk. I also have a few novelty pieces that were given to dealers as promotional pieces to help present the cars. These include a tie tac and cuff links with the Monte Carlo emblem. All are welcome to come inspect in person. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction early.
I've removed the reserve price on the car, first or highest bid takes the car.

Suzuki recalls 2 million cars globally
Wed, Apr 22 2015Suzuki is recalling two million vehicles across the globe, including a number of Chevrolet Cruze sedans that it builds for General Motors, because the ignition switches may begin to smoke. None of the Cruzes being recalled were sold in the US, though. This recall is limited to the Japanese, European and Australian markets. In Suzuki's home market, 1,873,000 vehicles are being recalled, including the Cruze and a number kei cars built for Mazda (the Carol and AZ-Wagon), as well as the automaker's own Alto, Wagon R and Swift. Affected vehicles were built between 1998 and 2009. The remaining 133,000 vehicles include Cruzes and other Suzuki products sold in Europe and Australia. There have been no reports of injuries or accidents due to the 67 reported incidents, all of which come from the Japanese market, a Suzuki spokesperson told Automotive News. Related Video:

Is Buick's surprise Detroit concept a Camaro-sized coupe?
Sun, Jan 10 2016Tomorrow night marks the unofficial start of the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. Keep your eyes peeled for a number of reveals, including a surprise debut from Buick. Yes, Buick. And we think it's going to be something really hot. According to a report from Bloomberg, the Tri-Shield's secret car could be a Camaro-sized sport coupe concept. As Bloomberg explains, it'd certainly gel with the impression the company is trying to put out – that it's no longer a brand for those with one foot in the grave. Introducing a sports coupe, even as a concept, could certainly reinforce that message. And if it happens to make production – which is not a certainty, Bloomberg's secret source says – it could certainly help Buick drive its average buyer age down from 59. Bloomberg doesn't offer any speculation on Buick's new coupe, but we have no problem making educated guesses. Our most reliable conjecture is this: it will ride on General Motors' Alpha platform, which underpins both the Camaro and the Cadillac ATS. And with a certain twin-turbocharged V6 in the GM stable, we've got an idea of what kind of engine could be shown. That speculation will have to suffice for now. But don't worry, we'll have official details, live images, and video tomorrow when Buick unveils its new concept in Detroit's Eastern Market.
