I have a 1975 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. It has a 400 Chevy Small Block rebuilt about 3 years ago When it had 51000. It has a turbo 350 transmission that was rebuilt Last fall. Only about 3000 miles on it. It has Swivel Bucket seats in it, and i alo have the original bench seat for it and the back seat for it, as seen in photos, The back left Quater panel has a dent and rust on it. The Right Quarter panel also has rust on it and green paint is chipping off of it. but primer is still under it. The trunk pan is solid. The interior Can Use a little work. The headliner is starting to fall around the edges easy fix tho. I also got different Quarter panels off of a 1976 Laguna. The Roof of the car also has some rust coming through the paint but surface rust, same with the trunk, will not take much to fix. Otherwise the car runs excellant and looks great.
Now, at the end of this auction I will require that the balence paid in full within 5 days from the end of auction. Certified bank check, or cash in person. I will not release the car or title unless all funds have cleared.Once it has cleared I will overnight the title to you, as you the buyer make full arraingements to pick up the car or have the car picked up. Consumer Reports declares most and least loved cars [w/video]
Wed, Dec 3 2014Consumer Reports is crunching the numbers from its annual owner-satisfaction survey, and part of that process is finding out how attached drivers are to their cars. CR simply asks readers of models up to three years old if they would buy the same vehicle again in light of their entire ownership experience, and tallies the results. After looking at the responses for about 350,000 vehicles, it turns out that people really love a certain California-built, electrically powered luxury sedan. That's right, this year's the overall winner was the Tesla Model S with a whopping 98 percent of owners saying they would purchase another one (the Model S also won this award last year, with 99 percent satisfaction). The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray came in a close second with 95 percent of drivers hoping to park another one in their garage. A few models weren't quite so favored, though. The Nissan Versa Sedan was the least loved model among its owners; a mere 42 percent said that they would purchase another. The aging Jeep Compass didn't do much better, with just 43 percent of drivers willing to buy the softroader again. On average, about 70 percent of owners say they would buy their car again, and only four cars ranked below 50 percent in CR's findings. Check out the video above to see some of the winners and losers in a few of CR's categories. If you're a subscriber, you can check out the full list on its website. Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.
