This is a 1970 Chevelle Malibu 350/350 ,The story, I bought this car about a year ago. It was a frame off  about 15 years ago , it was a good frame off did not miss anything ,but the engine builder mess up and it did not run right ,that owner parked it outside and never drove it. 10 years later a neighbor bought the car and drove it that way. The problem was no vacuum in motor very rough idle he drove it to work and parking it outside.

Since I have own it, New 350 motor ( about 325hp ) put together with drive ability in mind little bit over stock cam about 10.5 :1 compression really just a solid driver by Pete's Automotive one of the best ,Brand new 2 1/2" Flow Master exhaust thunder series sounds great,Brand new BF Goodrich tires. The Chevelle is parked inside garage now.

As you can see in picture the paint is starting to bubble up but over all the car is in great shape, underside is great ,the trunk is great ,the bottom of fenders and quarters look great and the body is straight. No bondo on either the fenders or quarter panels but there is some on the bottom of both doors looks good ,window seals and door seals are good. Did not come out in picture there are about five bird stains in the paint.
The interior need some work, there is alot you can do, change to bucket seats or just redo bench seat. The Heat does not work.

The parts that are going with , I have everything to change to heat only car and I everything to re-install the original AC system.
If it sells for BUY IT NOW Price a working 700R4 goes with as well.
Everything work lights ,wiper, no heat.
Really was a good restoration there are things I have never seen before and I have had a couple of these cars.

I am a little surprised no bids yet maybe more information. I took car to a couple of body shop in area for prices most said 3500 to fix paint and I would have had it done but we had a bad hail storm in area that damaged thousands of car, which means 1 or 2 year wait not good. and the heater change is just a nice weekend job for a car hobbyist I'll even throw in service manual.
Had I done these things myself I'd be asking 18 to 22 grand for car. This is cheap buy in ,Oh I did forget to mention I installed matched stay bars front and back in car what a differences that made, the car handles really well for 70's car.
New this year.
New motor 4500.
New exhaust 700.
New tires 550.
New headers 160.
New MSD dist. 165.
New plugs & wire 90.
New sway bars 450.
New steering wheel 275.
New water pump 105.
Used heater assembly 325.
Used 700R4 225.
Total that's 7,545

GM learning from current Chevy Volt owners as it works on next-gen model

Tue, Sep 16 2014

Details of the second-generation Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in hybrid are coming in at a trickle, and the latest is that the 2016 model-year Volt will be improved in all meaningful areas, including performance and all-electric range, says General Motors powertrain director Larry Nitz. 60 percent of Volt customers only charge using a standard 110 outlet. Nitz was speaking to Autoline After Hours about the current and future Volt. He said that GM has been tracking Volt driving habits and found that about two-thirds of the Volts' collective miles are driven in electric mode, and that 81 percent of all Volt trips were done in pure EV mode. Additionally, Volt drivers plug the car in 10 times each week, on average. Nitz also said 82 percent of the Volt's commuting miles are coming from the plug instead of the gas tank. Oh, and 60 percent of Volt customers only charge using a standard 110 outlet. Last month, GM released a teaser shot of the 2016 Volt (above) and said the car would make its worldwide debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show next January. Earlier this year, the Volt was reported to be getting a new chassis for the upcoming version. The Volt could use a bit of new life. Through August, Volt sales were down 12 percent from a year earlier to 13,146 units, and sales plunged 25 percent alone. That compares unfavorably to the Nissan Leaf battery-electric vehicle, whose 2014 sales have jumped 34 percent to almost 19,000 units. You can see Nitz dish the goods in the video below (Volt comments start at around minute 15). You will also notice AutoblogGreen contributor Gary Witzenburg talk about his history with the EV1 and share his take on the Volt. This content is hosted by a third party. Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.

2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
