The transmission is by Keisler Engineering, a Tremec TKO 5-Speed with supporting hardware including a blow-proof bell housing and all GM A-body equipment for a perfect fit & function. The clutch is a 3-Stage High Performance. The transmission has a 31-spline yoke with a chromoly driveshaft to the built 12-bolt differential. The linkage is by Lokar Performance. The stout rear end features 300M chromoly axles, Hotchkis trailing arms, and KYB air shocks. The front end has been completely rebuilt with replaced tie rod ends, ball joints, bushings, steering box, sway bar, Hotchkis springs and KYB shocks.
The cooling system features a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual 12" electric fans.
The exhaust system is high performance & high flow front to back. Gasses are expelled through 2" ceramic-coated Hooker headers to full 3-inch dual pipes with Mega Flow mufflers. There are cut-out plates if you want to make this Chevelle really rumble and thump. Be sure to play our video.
The exterior is finished in maroon base/clearcoat paint. The paint is fair, not perfect, but shows well. The wheels of choice are 18-Inch Aluminum Rev Classic Triple Chrome Plated wheels sized at 18x7 up front and 18x9 out back. The tires of choice are Nexen N7000s sized at 235//40ZR18s up front & 275/35ZR18s out back. The front disc braking system has been rebuilt along with the rear drum brakes.
Open the doors to a stock-appearing black SS interior with bench seating.
The dash houses factory gauges including a tachometer & clock. All gauges are working with exception of the clock.
The upholstery and door panels are clean and in very good condition throughout as is the dash pad.
The undercarriage displays excellent flooring, suspension, exhaust, and framework throughout. The front end has been rebuilt throughout along with the rear end. Hotchkis springs have been installed all around along with Hotchkis trailing arms. The exhaust system is gnarly, full 3-inch with 2" ceramic-coated Hooker headers. Check out the exhaust cut-out plates too.
Further inspection of the engine compartment will confirm a neat and tidy setup, indeed. Again, this crate GEN IV 572 R is rated at 720 horsepower & 685 ft-lbs of torque. The engine runs great and transmission shifts as it should. This is an easy car to drive and an animal under throttle. The engine compartment features the Be Cool aluminum radiator along with the original sheet metal throughout the inner fenders, core support and firewall.
The vin# is 1 3637 9Z343550. It is hard to see the 1 on the vin tag.
The original trim identification plate is also in place as is the original VIN plate. The burgundy color is correct to the car.
The paint is in good condition with some nicks and imperfections to note on close inspection. The body itself is straight throughout. There are several flaws you have to look for I tried to detail in several photographs above. There are some isolated rust bubbles in a few lower areas you can also see above. This car is all about the mechanicals.
The black vinyl top is in excellent condition as is its brightwork.
The trunk has been outfitted with an amplifier and 12-disc CD changer.
