1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Ss Hardtop 2-door 502 Cu In on 2040-cars
Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States
This vehicle is in very good condition but not show quality by any means. This vehicle is built and listed as a car to be driven. It has some superficial scratches on the exterior and some trim pieces on the interior that are worn. Otherwise this vehicle is totally mechanically sound.
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is built for the person who wants a classic car that can smoke most cars on the street from light to light. It is a very clean but not show quality piece that has been built for speed. From the pictures, you might notice the 427ss badges that were installed. The more discerning Chevelle enthusiast know htat these badges have been bolted in by a previous owner in the factory locations. The owner prior to us didn't care about the 427 cu in motor or whatever was in it as he decided he wanted to play with the big dogs and installed a big motor. This car has a built 502 cu in Big Block Chevy motor instead. He then put Edelbrock aluminum heads, a Demon 4-barrel carburetor, full MSD Ignition system, electric fan with aluminum radiator, electric fuel pump with fuel cell, Nitrous Express 75-150 shot nitrous set up, 12 bolt GM rear end with C-Clip elinator axles, 400 Turbo transmission, a line lock converter, and Mickey Thompson street drag radials. Inside, the car is fitted with a complete set up of Autometer guages including tachometer. The car is outfitted with a custom gauge bezel to hold all the gauges along with complete racing seats and harnesses with material that matches the rear seats along with a full padded roll cage. To stop the car we removed the archaic 4 wheel drum set-up and installed a Wilwood 4 piston 4 wheel slotted disc set-up on the vehicle.
This vehicle was bought from a car collector that has numerous cars in his warehouse. He was not the original owner on the vehicle and could not tell us any further history on it.
We require that payment be made within 72 hours of close of sale by certified funds, bank transfer, or cash. Shipping will have to be arranged by the buyer or we can recommend some different sources.
Whoever buys this vehicle will be extremely satisfied and be smiling ear to ear.

Valet mode captures joyride in red Corvette
Thu, Dec 18 2014A man in California is among the first to catch a valet behaving badly in his 2015 Corvette using a controversial built-in recording feature. Dan Cowles told KTLA 5 when he bought his dream car, a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, he opted for the Performance Data Recorder. The Corvette PDR uses a high-definition camera mounted in the windshield header, a microphone in the cabin and a GPS receiver that record and track the sports car's movements and sounds. They work together to produce a video with telemetry overlay, so you can see acceleration rates, lap times and g-forces. The system can be customized to show extensive performance data, or simply video of your drive like a traditional dash cam. It also comes with Valet Mode, which locks the glove box, disables entertainment and records video. The audio recording feature ran afoul of several state's recording consent laws, but this video has no audio, indicating the fix may have been as easy as turning off the microphone. Cowles dropped off his hot red 'Vette with the valets at the Segerstrom Center for the Performing Arts in Costa Mesa, CA. When he got his car back he checked the PDR and discovered footage of the valet taking a short, but intense, joyride in the garage. In the video, the valet finds a straightaway in a tiered parking garage and pushes the car to 50 miles per hour in five seconds before quickly stopping. He then parks the car without incident. The valet then gets out of the car and takes one more admiring look at the front. The valet company has yet to commented on the video, according to Fox News, but valets everywhere should be on notice; that little red Corvette you have your eye on may have its eyes on you. The Jitterbugs somersaulted at the 1986 Chicago Auto Show for the Chevy Nova
Tue, Dec 30 2014Judging by the vintage videos that the Chicago Auto Show has been uploading, if you wanted to check out the latest vehicles and watch some dancers in the same place in the late '80s and early '90s, then the Windy City event was definitely the place to be. We've already seen the Footlockers pitching the Cavalier in '88 and a troupe of women singing about the Geo brand in '91. Apparently, the trend went back even further, though. Just take a look at this group called the Jitterbugs selling some badge-engineered products from Chevrolet at the 1986 show. Flanked by the Chevy Nova and Spectrum, these guys managed to do a few pretty impressive jumps and somersaults but mixed them with some rather uninspired spins, as well. Also, wait for 1:24 into the clip to see the least enthusiastic backup dancers that the world has ever known. The Jitterbugs are even further proof that Chevy's habit of mixing dancing and its vehicles goes back even further than the Volt. Junkyard Gem: 2003 Chevrolet Tracker
Wed, May 22 2024When General Motors created the Geo brand to sell vehicles designed and — in some cases — built by Japanese partners, the first four models were introduced for the 1989 model year: the Metro (Suzuki Cultus), Prizm (Toyota Sprinter), Spectrum (Isuzu Gemini) and Tracker (Suzuki Sidekick). Geo got the axe in 1997, with the Metro, Prizm and Tracker becoming Chevrolets. Of those, the Tracker survived the longest, with U.S.-market sales continuing into 2004. Here's an example of a very late Tracker, found in a North Carolina car graveyard recently. The 1989-1997 first-generation Trackers were based on the Suzuki Sidekick, while the 1998-2004 Trackers had the Suzuki Vitaras (not to be confused with the much grander Grand Vitaras) as their siblings. Production of these trucks for the South American market (as the Chevrolet Vitara) continued in Ecuador all the way through 2014. The Tracker name has also gone onto some versions of the Chevrolet Trax around the world. This one is a base four-door hard top/rear-wheel-drive model, which had an MSRP of $17,330. That's about $29,789 in 2024 dollars. You'll find one in every car. You'll see. The engine is a Suzuki 2.0-liter straight-four rated at 127 horsepower and 134 pound-feet. A five-speed manual was base equipment, but very few American vehicle shoppers wanted three pedals by the middle 2000s. This truck has the Aisin four-speed automatic. We like it loud. It appears that someone associated with this truck graduated from Julius L. Chambers High School last year. In the United States, the Tracker was replaced by the Saturn Vue. If Tracker can handle (unspecified Middle Eastern country), it can survive the jungle back home. Siempre contigo.
