My fiance and I purchased this car from our new landlord about a month after we moved to this new town and quickly realized you NEED any set of wheels to get around here! He was given the car from a relative but had no use for it (unable to drive). When we received the title he had signed in the wrong area, upon fixing it he caused the title further damage. My fiance and I have no time to get a new title as I am pregnant and can't walk up and down hills with the weather getting colder and my fiance goes to work on bike 5 days a week, with the weekends reserved for us to move within the next month or two as we are not happy with the situation we are in. We'd rather have the money to move than have to struggle through the Winter.
The car has had 1 actual owner who used the car, myself and my landlord have not done more than test drive the car to see the conditions. It has no damage, no mechanical faults and LOW MILES, LESS THAN 115K. Rides and responds smoothly and is easy on gas with a V6 automatic engine. Seats up to 6 people, 3 seats in the front and 3 in the back. Non-smoking owners and no pets have been in the car (odor free!). Remote starter, power locks, factory AM/FM radio so there is no cassette or CD player, but has a lighter receptacle to connect any music device. It's a great car for someone who needs a comfortable and reliable commute to work, or even a first car for the new driver in the family. Full payment required within one week from auction close! If we do not receive any payment we will either re-list the car or give to the next highest offer so please be ready to buy! I will not hesitate to give anyone negative feedback and/or report them! Buyer is responsible for pick up and/or shipping! After the car leaves our hands it is no longer our responsibility! All sales are final so if there are any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact! |

GM Design shows what could have been and what might be
Thu, May 27 2021We periodically like to check in with GM Design's Instagram account to see what they're cooking up. Even better is when we catch a glimpse of an alternate history of what legendary designers from The General's past were thinking, though those ideas may not have made it into production. This week, for example, the account posted some illustrations from George Camp, whose career at GM spanned nearly four decades, from 1963 to 2001. One of the renderings is of what appears to be a 1971-72 Pontiac GTO Judge, but with two headlights instead of the production unit's quad beams. The rear departs from the canonical version most dramatically, with a massive integrated wing. Other bits that didn't make the production cut include large side vents, a gill-like side marker and rectangular intakes below the headlights that wouldn't be out of place on a modern design today. Amazingly, from what we can make out of the date, it appears that the drawing was done sometime in 1965, which makes it quite prescient. To our eyes it splits the difference between the 1986 Corvette Indy concept and a fourth-generation F-body Pontiac Firebird, so perhaps parts of Camp's work on this sketch did make it into physical form. There's also a radical sports car concept from May 1970 that resembles the Mazda RX-500 concept from the same year, a Syd Mead-looking Cadillac coupe, and an Oldsmobile with a cool take on the company's trademark waterfall grille and elements of the Colonnade Cutlass at the rear. Other recent posts include a FJ Cruiser-like off-road EV, a sleek coupe with the Chevy corporate grille, and a rendering of a Silverado-esque pickup that looks far better than the current production version. GM tinkering with Silverado, Sierra model mix amidst strong early sales
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Variety, as they say, is the spice of life. That's a lesson that is currently being taught to General Motors, because despite a strong showing from its 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, the General's pickup sales still can't best those of cross-town rival Ford.
With 59,163 trucks moved, GM fell just over 1,000 units short of toppling Ford, and one of the main reasons for that, according to GM's chief sales analyst, was due to a lack of variety in the engines and body styles available on dealer lots. "We are still over-weighted toward crew-cab V8 trucks. Our light-duty mix will moderate over time as our launch progresses," said Kurt McNeil.
Loading dealers with the popular combination of the 5.3-liter V8 and the four-door, Crew Cab body style was intentional during the truck's launch, but as supplies of leftover 2013 models, which are being sold at heavy incentives, are beginning to wane, both budget-conscious and high-dollar buyers are looking elsewhere instead of at the volume model pickups.
First 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 Sells For One Million Dollars
Mon, Apr 14 2014NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick loves buying first-built Chevrolet models for charity. He paid $1 million to buy the first production 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible and $650,000 to get the first 2014 Chevy Camaro Z/28. Hendrick's latest purchase happened at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach where he got into a bidding war to pay $1 million to get the first 2015 Corvette Z06. The bidding came quick with the car reaching $100,000 within 3 seconds and hitting $500,000 in about 35 seconds. The money from the sale was donated to the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
